Just saw this on the VIndictus Website, as title says. Evie (Mage) will be added in approximatively 7 days.

You can read the whole thing here (although there's not much to read) : http://vindictus.nexon.net/News/Content.aspx?boardNo=100&contentNo=009rW

Been waiting for Nexon to release Evie before I start playing again, can't wait.

I bet you can't wait to level her to 26+ to experience Evie in Ainle!

I bet you can't wait to get her some cool looking gear and to earn all that AP to make her a powerful addition to your character roster!

I bet you can't wait to play her only a few hours a week because Tokens reset on Monday and Friday Only up to 50!

I bet NOW you can't wait to find something else

Yeah, I'm stoked about it. Gonna switch between it and Fiona while they figure out this token thing.

Apparently, they are inviting some players from the LA area to their offices to discuss it - which is a mistake - because a handful of them are bound to throw a milkshake at the production manager and call him a "fag". It's ironic that they assume they can actually get good feedback from players like that, in-person or not. Either way though, it looks like there might be changes to it eventually.

It's only you. The fact that coins are back to the way they were supposed to be does not affect me at all....

It's still easy to level even with less tokens. Less tokens only effects AP grinding which even then you can work around it.

We're happy for you, hell many of us envy you, sadly, it does affect nearly everyone "else" playing the game currently.

To find an intelligent person in a PUG is not that rare, but to find a PUG made up of "all" intelligent people is one of the rarest phenomenons in the known universe.

If you consider running 70+ low level dungeons for 12 hours straight to gain a single level in the 30's easy... Well you have a very different lookout on life. (Or play games I want no part of.) And I did just this today to go from 36 to 37. And I'll do it again tommorow, but it ain't easy.

PS: On the plus side, I have almost gotten the "vengful" title for running "Revenge" 100 times.

Thing is, you are the one forcing yourself to grind Lv.36 to 37 on lower level dungeons. Levels means little outside of access to quests, and skill books. You could just as well log off and play a different game  while you're out of Tokens.

the problem is that you and so many others are what's wrong with the world today including the game market

You just sit there and Take it up the rear end saying "eh it is how it is nothing I can do about it" or "who gives a crap I don't"

If everyone in history had ever said that things would've never changed for the better, if you don't stand up and be heard for anything you get NOTHING.

So why are we fighting against this token nonsense? Because it's necessary so you can either help or get outta the way.

Errrrrrr, no. You know nothing about me so I suggest you stop making stupid assumptions. I have been aware of how the Token System and Cash Shop worked since the Korean version launched and had no problem with this, even if it was to be carried over to North America.

Does that mean I believe there's nothing I can do about it? Not at all. But I'm perfectly fine with the Token System, otherwise I simply wouldn't be playing Vindictus, it's as simple as that.

Wanna bet that the "invited players" won't bother to provide many new ideas since current system is fine?

Depends on your play schedule. It's fine as is for weekends (for me anyway), but get back to me once you face your first monday-to-friday stretch tokenless.

I can handle the stretch since by the update I was already tokenless. I hope they do something to shut the whiners up but not go with an unlimited system where platinum  tokens give better rewards (as asked for on the official forums) then people will have all of there skills maxed out in a week then no body will be playing anyway.

The rumor is that Korak (the giant) gimick is that he will have the ability to grapple bosses. Since having him as a tank would over shadow Fiona and devCAT wants to make every character unique. I'm also waiting for Kai (the archer) since he will be my secondary character.

Who are you trying to bullshit?

Have any idea how many skills there are, and how long it would take to get them ALL up at 10ap a run? People might have maxed out their primary combat skills as is, but they squelched on tons of other things that are still really useful. How many rank A campfires have you seen? Hell, what about meditation?

I agree the whining involved is incomprehensible, but there is such a thing as sugarcoating and avoiding facts, just to stick it to the whiners you are sick of. Fact of the matter is, the current token system *IS* bogus, and I personally would rather see something like how Dungeon Fighter does it. A daily ration, no matter how small, is far better because at least your retain the option to play daily. I for one use half my tokens in a single day, that means I can't play sunday if I play today, and my upcoming weekday lineup is going to be pretty boring. The only bright side is that Evie is coming out soon, which spreads the use of tokens twice as far as long as I keep up with my Fiona on top of it... but let's be real here. How many people want to rehash the same stuff over and over again, much like the game is *already* about, but from a different character angle, and from scratch? It's pretty much supposing we adopt self-destructive gaming habits. Who will be playing after burnout? After being forced to play the ruins level til their minds bleed? Screw the point on AP.

I would also vouch for a system where boats that cost tokens would take less past the threshhold where they start costing more, so long as you are 20/40/60 levels above it.

well about the skills I can tell you that the higher you get the skill the HIGHER the cost

Last thing I ranked up was Light Armor proficiency and it took like 270 AP to get Rank A

A fatigue system like DFO would be great, but Vindictus would need a lot more content, there's just not enough at the moment, in my opinion.
