Every day I look at my old games on the shelf, so I decided to play a few.
Ninja Gaiden 1989
Ninja Gaiden 2 1990
Ninja Gaiden 3 1991
Contra Konami 1988
Solar Jetman 1990
My original NES was broken. Dammit
So I went to ebay and bought this for around 10.00 USD:
WOW....the memories came back and the frustrations mounted playing Ninja Gaiden again. How many of you still have your NES or play some old games for nostalgic reasons. Actually, I had a blast. Great break from WoW.....LOL
What games do you still have? I kow most of you dont remember those days, but how about you old timers?

I may still have Metroid and Simon's Quest in a box somewhere, but I think I tossed my NES when I couldn't get any games to play on it. It just kept doing that thing where it flashes a black screen, then a gray screen. And you can try blowing in it or the cartridge but it only works 3% of the time.
Oh yeah, and Gyromite. I still have Rob the Robot. He's adorable but only slightly less useless than the power glove as a gaming peripheral.
oldschool gaming is some of the finest ever, its a shame kids now days didnt grow up with what we did, those were the real years of gaming. Ive been playing the Sega CD alot lately from time to time. There were a handful of good games for that system including Sonic CD and a few decent RPGS. One of my favorite games for the Sega Genesis was Shadowrun that game is pimp.
lol I have that same system as the OP, kinda makes me mad because the buttons don't respond as fast as the original nes and I have problems getting through the laser / fire level in Contra. Or maybe it's that i'm not as dextrous as I was when I was 9 lol. Excluding mmos, I play old games way more than new ones. Hell I finally beat gunsmoke for the nes just the other day, and I've been trying since the 80's. Personally I like my snes better; zelda: a link ot the past and super mario world are two of the greatest games ever made imo.
