Lately, Warhammer because PvP fights with dozens of people are fun.

There are a lot of good F2P games to plink around in until something you want comes out. I am waiting for World of Darkness to come out. I am hoping since its CCP it will be a sandboxy type game. also archeage. looks pretty spectacular at the moment but will have to wait to see how it actually pans out. It is in CB testing at the beginning of november.
I am also waiting for Pirates of the Burning Seas to go f2p in november.
but no, there are no good pay to play games out right now that are worth playing at all. in my mind at least.

I will keep an eye on Warhammer then. And Warhammer 40K when it's out but I believe they are both made by different developers? Glad you are having fun. Hope there are more games too.

Currently:
EVE - For it's scope, community, depth, freedom, cut throat nature and for the player potential it offers which no other game does.
Darkfall - A flawed gem, fast paced, ground pounding combat with no safety net, as well as for all it's other 'non carebear' features.
Future:
Mainly WoD as it's by CCP.
Whether any of them are 'worth playing' is entirely down to the individual ofc.
"Come and have a look at what you could have won."
ANY game worth playing? Of course. What I'm playing right now and why:
Fable 3: Awesome story, enjoyed the first 2, lots of improvements to combat. Definitely worth the play through
Global Agenda: I like to PvP when the PvP is good, and this online hub-based "MMO" seems to hit in all the right spots for me. Lots of interesting classes to play as, even more interesting builds, and I've been playing for a few months now and I still have a reason to log in every day, even after getting close to maxing out all classes. The holiday patch gave me a lot more to toy with too.
I have some other games that I'm not playing so religiously, going back through some old console games I didn't have much time to play before, like prototype which is another great game. There are so many great games out right now too. Fallout NV just came out, and thats my next game on the list. I also have DCUOs beta to look forward to. (Yes I'll be testing, but I'll also be playing). Two Worlds 2. .. .. just a lot of great games to look forward to in the MMO genre too.
My fallback - fallback - MMO is Fallen Earth, and with the new combat update, I know I'll be subbing at least for a month or two. Great game. Lots of different builds. Lots of space to roam around and explore.

WoW = Burning out but hanging on for Cataclysm (for now) If it's more of the same then.. not playing for long.
Warhammer = Not really tried it but looking over it.
World of Darkness = I'm waiting too. Looks good, roll on 2012 (I think)
EVE Online = Waiting for Incarna and hoping (!!) it rocks.
Conan = Heard good and bad things, willing to be flexible on the topic.
LOTRO = In the Eurozone, waiting for Codemasters to sort it, but suspect something majorly nasty might happen.
Amongst others, that's my own perspective on the current game situation which undoubtedly will differ from other forum members.
I'm playing Ultima Online, if that tells you anything.
Just take a break from MMOs. There are plenty of other games to dive into, and right now that is Minecraft for me. Who knows, maybe you'll catch the bug and enjoy it!
I'm giving Fallen Earth a shot here, 14 day free trial and I gotta say, I am actually finding myself engaged in the gameplay and looking forward each day to logging in. I haven't had that feeling since....Wrath of the Lich King launched.
I too am burnt out on WoW waiting for it to change(cataclysm) enough to circumvent that burnout, but in the meantime I've been hopping around MMOs trying to find one to hold me down a bit. GW1 and Fallen Earth are the only ones really grabbing me at the moment.
I keep looking at next year's list, Rift, TOR, GW2 with longing.

I love Darkfall so I definitely recommend it. It is not for everyone though. It has a free trial so there is no reason not to try it and form your own opinion.

Darkfall
the world, the FPS style combat, great PVE, large seiges, ship combat.
Fallen Earth
Crafting is the best I have ever experienced! general humor
Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.
I would have to say the only MMO currently worth playing would be EVE, I think that beast will be around for just about ever. Also EVE doesn't add meaningless content to replace old (ex: WoW) but instead builds upon its foundation making new features and things to always look forward too and free!
While I am subbed to EVE currently I have been so addicted to World of Tanks (not an MMO by any means) but it is so much fun for the twitch based shooter fans.
Also I am truly looking forward to Rift and believe it could become a great MMO alongside of Guildwars 2! (PLEASE DON'T DISAPPOINT ME RIFT & GW2!!)
Give WURM Online a shot. I'd still be playing it but I just don't have the time for it, lol it turns into a second job, but a fun job that involves not starving to death and getting eaten by wolves.
It's java so you'll have to forgive it, still for java the graphics ain't half bad and the game play is way different from most of whats out there, save maybe Minecraft (developed by the same guy, go fig).
Fallout: New Vegas is the reason I'm sitting at Barnes and Noble right now and NOT working on my research papers like I should be... They're not due until the last day of the semester, I swear I'll get them done!

Choosing 1 favorite game is like choosing only 1 person to live your life forever with... oh snap.
Ultima Online -> A MMORPG with POSSIBILITIES and a good gameplay system for RP and nice RPG stuff.
Ragnarok Online -> Who said killing monsters was boring? Dialog style massive monster killing RPG with big spells and stuff is always a Win, if you play on a high speed leveling server you will get "Dragonball massive strenght" served! AoC was a bit HacknSlash too, that's probably why that's the only turn by turn RPG I've gone trough endgame.
Guild Wars -> I quit playing but... wow, had a good time with this game. Awesome, maybe is still today (PvE AND PvP)
And now comes : Everygame that is not turn based, like TERA or C9, after I have played C9 beta I can't play another turn based RPG like WoW and LOTRO and that stuff, just boring as hell.
Wtf am I doing posting on MMORPG.com, the forum is a nest of troll and haters
WoW = Dumping all my banks while the inflation is crazy high. AH is my friend.
Guild Wars = Got really cool costume for Halloween. That's really great news because I find Guild Wars gear system to be lacking. My guy looks like a roman dork in warrior gear.
Zentia = Play it when I get a chance. VERY impressed with design. Scares a lot of people off because it looks childish, but it's more like classic disney than anything else.
WAC = I have to. I'm writing it. :-)

What you looking for exactly? If you haven't tried it recently I would save give darkfall a go. Although you'll have to like fps style combat instead of select target and perform the same order skills over and over.
Otherwise I would say wait and hopefully the next set of mmo's bring something new to the table worth having.

I'm tempted to give EVE Online another go. Darkfall does look good, yup.

really any F2P would be good if you're waiting for 2011's releases. i've been playing WAR because of the fun PvP and cool classes.
Played EVE. I liked listening to EVE Radio and chatting while doing stuff in the game. I am really looking forward to Incarna and hope it rocks.
There are tons of games worth playing, it just depends on your tastes. Here's my recommendations:
PvP: Aion
PvE: World of Warcraft
RP: Lord of the Rings Online
Comics/Heroes: City of Heroes
Sci-Fi: Eve Online
Only one... Darkfall
Rest are all tab target same old same old crap.
Burned out of the same old?
Give WURM Online a shot. I'd still be playing it but I just don't have the time for it, lol it turns into a second job, but a fun job that involves not starving to death and getting eaten by wolves.
