What Race?

Hey guys, coming back to EVE sometine next week (Whenever I can get a few days off of work)

 

I've been wanting to come back for a few weeks but I haven't played in so long.. My main character was an Amarr pirate, did some roaming as well. Can't even remember skillpoints as its been so long.. Or even my ship.

I was considering making another character as mining or something just to brush up on the game and maybe have some fun while doing it... What race would be best for this? Anything special I need to know?

I don't think it really matters, tbh I'm not into the mining/hauling side of it really so i'll just give you a link which may help.
