Good PvP Class

I only have Prophecies and Eye of the North. Is there a class that is able to be relatively competitive in pvp with only the skills from these two?

It depends on what pvp you are talking about. In JQ or FA, you could go with any profession. Look up some builds at PvXwiki in the pvp section.

Properly played, the Mesmer is able to counter pretty much any profession. However, the Ranger comes pretty close too.
