Welcome to our final category in this year's installment of the 2010 Reader's Choice Awards. This is your opportunity to cast your vote for the game that you felt best brought its A-Game to the table, so don't be shy, check out the choices and let us know how you voted!

EVE - and I think I will be voting EVE for years. Hands down best MMO ever created IMO

Any person who expresses rage and loathing for an MMO is preposterous. He or she is like a person who has put on full armor and attacked a hot fudge sundae.
In my opinon there are 3 MMOs fighting for this award
EvE, LotrO and WoW.
They are on a level on their own when it comes to quality. I vote LotrO but consider it an even match between the three even if I dont play the other two.
The second tier would be Aion, DDO, EQ2 and CoH
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
EVE for sure...

I think that all the Guild Wars games should be merged into one option. They are all the same game really.

Personally, there is not game of the year... This year has sucked for games in general. And WoW just plain sux and gets boring doing the same dungeons over and over.
Why are there 3 separate listings for Guild Wars?

Honestly, Guild Wars has always been the best MMORPG. EVE appeals to people because of the market, but other than that I can't think of any reason to play it...
I've had the most fun with City of Heroes this year and it's expansion.
It's that game everyone should turn to when they're in the mood for something different and well made with plenty of content to contend with.

Kinda unfair that Guild Wars gotta split their votes into 3.
Between WoW, LotRO and EVE, I decided to vote for the one that feels to me most like a game instead of a job.
Lot's of choices there. I like LOTRO and AoC.
Too bad I blew my only vote on Yohoho puzzle pirates!!!!
WoW is weak sauce. Blizzard destroyed WoW when they came out with Burning Crusade. Worst expansion ever.
Lotro is good but they still got some tweaking to do. How ever it's more fun now that it's free than when I was paying to play.
Everquest II is a solid game just no community.
SWG - Best Game Ever, just has a ruined reputation and no community.

Where are you all living so I can avoid the whole to fall into...There is no way an MMO is going to get Game of the Year, Gears of War; Black Ops...however Red Dead Redemption got it I believe.
I love MMO's but until next year with The Old Republic hitting in spring, we might, might see that MMO get nominated, but honestly VGA even Blizzard only got Starcraft2 into the running, not WoW.
The only genre that has a hope of getting it done is Star Wars and only then by a dev house like Bioware. Hell even ME3 will probably beat ToR for best RPG, and its not out till November next year.
Lotro? Eve? wow you all live in a really dark hole.
And if you think I am harsh, well too bad, someone has to shine a flashlight into yoru little dark corner.

LOTRO hands down. I played wow for two years and got board. i really think this game has a better crafting way than wow. The quests are easy to understand and it's graphics are colourful and PVE is amazing. You can even earn Turbine potints by playing the game and comlpleting quests. It's the best game I've played in a while. I think Runes of Magic is a close tie though.
EVE Online overall. It has been consistently getting better. Its gaming community is as prevalent as it has been in the past 7 years. The market and outside-of-the-game content (Capsuleer, EVEHQ, EFT, EVEMon, BattleClinic, etc.) can't be beat. And, most importantly, there's no elves to be seen anywhere on Tranquility.
I dont see how Eve wont win this. Best MMO. Most different. Most polished. Most advanced. One of the finest looking games. I could go on but you get the picture
