Rofl final fantisy free to play what grass are you smoking.

Street grade (LQ) crack, I believe. I can smell it from here, ffs.

If you dont pay for a game ( in 2010, and that is the award in question ) that makes it free to play... and the game is good.

Was more of a provovation, but i stand by my comment

Although wizard 101 isn't free to play it is a pretty cheap game that has much to offer for kids and families

F2P: You never have to pay a cent to continue playing a game.

FFXIV has "halted subscriptions" until the game is "back to standards". It's still a P2P game no matter how you twist the words around.

Forums: The best real-time interactive MMORPG you'll ever be in.

I have played a variety of the games being voted on here but I cannot say as I have played any of them as long as with as much devotion as I have Wizard 101. It has something the other games really don't and I don't think there is a better game to receive the award.

It is the best family oriented as well as any age oriented game that I have found.

I have been on Wizards 101 for nearly 5 months now. I have had several people tell me to try WOW. However, I find that Wizards 101 is more suitable for me.  I do not like to see the horrors of battle or hear the screams of death. Wizards 101 is "G" Rated and friendly to any family member. I feel I will stick  with Wizards 101 for a long time to come.

Comon guys, we can see 1 posters bucking for promotion a mile away.  It is a good game for what it is, don't know if anybody would disagree with you. But it is not a free to play game. it's more like an extended free trial. Otherwise I may have voted for it as well.:)

LOTRO and Vindictus. Both the biggest and best impacts in the MMO world as F2P

However LOTRO's F2P model kinda sucks, Vindictus u get pretty much everything for free, you pay for excess storage space lol and consumables or character looks, nothing mandatory to enjoy the game to the fullest.

Details can always change it's the idea that counts.

I feel that Wizard101 is the best. It offers so much for so many age groups. I have 2 sons that play this game. One is 19 and the other is 5 years old so it great for anyone.

Wizard 101 is awesome if you play it you will get addicted to it it is one of the most fun things you will every do in your life it rocks :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VOTE WIZARD 101

  • lanceoceanlanceocean Member Posts: 2

THIS is not true it does not limit you to level 10 you fight in battles and earn experience even after your quests run out so you can never stop leveling up with out paying unless you reach the maximum level which at the time is 60 just wanted to clarify that wizard 101 doesnt restrict you from thriving.

Eq2 XX - I've been playing EQ2 since 2005, and the F2P version is the same game, although with fewer amenities available unless you decide to unlock them by purchasing some form of subscription option .. or just buy what you want to have access to.  Still one of the best games around, in my opinion.

    LotRO FTW!

This was a very easy vote, Lotr is the only game in the list with significant content.  You will be bored to tears in any of the others within a month or two.

EQ2 has the worst f2p design in the genre, they could have been competitive without their ridiculous f2p makeup.

And of course, Wizard 101, whiile a great game, is most certainly NOT f2p.  Free to try to level 10 and then you have to pay to play further, so it does not belong in this vote!

"so you can never stop leveling up(Wizard 101)"

Now that is complete nonsense, even if you just go kill mobs in wizard101 you can only get to level 14 or 15 until the creatures in the areas available to you stop giving experience and I just could not imagine the grind in doing so.

I rather enjoy both Wizard 101 and Runescape. While it is true that Wizard only allows a F2P player to advance to a certain point, I think it's way worth the minimal cost to go further. I appreciate that it has family pricing so my daughter and I can both play.

With Runescape, I enjoy skilling and in the F2P worlds/areas one can level multiple skills all the way up to the coveted 99's. Again, it is true that more is unlocked with membership, but between gift cards and online subscriptions is not hard to do so.

Lotro is the best for me.

RoM should not even been mentioned it just money trap & cheap asian style shhhhh...  if you have money to spend, play WoW instate, they are very close only WoW is way better at all point of view.

try before buy, even if it's a game to avoid bad surprises.
Worst surprises for me: Aion, GW2

Wizard101 Why? Because all the people who just look at it and say it baby-ish, my 19 yr old sister plays it and thinks its awesome (she like World of Warcraft too :P) The game is pretty fun and when I tried to download all the other games to try them out it just fail mostly Vindictus it kept crashing my computer and we just got our new Mac computer like in August. What I wrote is my opinion. I still haven't tried Lord of the Rings yet (people say its a good game .....maybe) But my vote is ......WIZARD101 YAY!!!!!! (Level 11 Fire Wizard)
