Who Thinks the Rift Event is awsome?

Wow.. I never wittnessed one of the invasion events until now.. And man was it epic.. I got in like a 35person raid and we just went rift after rift closeing them and pvping guardians.. Fighting several huge NPC's on the way and then finnaly 2 huge golems at once! I'am sold after this event.. This is beta and already the stability of it all and the event itself amazes me.. I took some screen shots, theres litterally hundreds of other players all around me fighting off these huge rift npcs.. Epiiiic!
edit: With the NDA lifted am i actually allowed to post screenshots of beta now?

Have to agree with you, it was quite amazing.
You couldn't move for invasions! That was one hell of a stress test though, and not a single crash.

ya i just logged on to talk about that. The thing was GREATT fun it took awhile for everyone to get together but when we did lol oh boy. I never had that much fun in an MMO for a very very very long time. Cant wait to see wait to see what they have in store

I wasn't so impressed by the invasions. They were not bad but not really good either.
The game is not bad and have it's moments. I do however don't feel it will be my main choice of 2011 even if it still is a possibility. It is the best game that released in a while but I have high hopes for several other games coming out soon as well.
My main issue with the game is that a lot of things feels like I already done them. Rifts and invasions are not a bad idea but the game could use more random dynamic events like that.
So far, I'm really enjoying myself. And I think it's going to be one of the better mmo launches which will help keep player base going. It's polished as far as stability and how the game runs, but need more content and diversity besides the soul skill tree. But I'll be there opening day.
Surprisingly good. If they can now use the dynamic spawn system for lots of other content in game. And increae the world size so that we can all get a chance at the rifts before the Zerg arrives the game could be a success.

It was OK. I had far too much FPS lag going on to truly enjoy it, but it was chaotic which is good and it offered me an alternative way to level other than just quest grinding or mob grinding. Faster too. I got 4 levels in about half an hour in that raid, killing the waves and waves of mobs that kept spawning. Good times.
All i can say is this..if you really want to enjoy the madness, roll on PVP servers once game goes live.
Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

I had a great time with them. Rift is gonna be a good mmo.
I kinda like the game. It feels a lot like WoW... It was like I was playing WoW or/and Warhammer...
Tthose rift invasions felt a bit messy. Just spam your abilities/dots and try to be number one. At least, thats how I did it. Perhaps not the right way to do it. But it worked nevertheless. I was a necromancer/something/warlock.
Still, that will be the reason I will not be playing this game. I love the idea though, but not like this.
But just spamming abilities like a blind madman doenst cut it for me. It is fun, but not for very long :P.
And I am afraid that the rift invasions will remain the same the whole game. Kill, kill, kill, Neeeeext and there we go again.
