So I was reading another FFXIV review earlier, and I came across the complaint that there's no key to open the inventory. This is perhaps the third or forth time I've seen this, and I'm curious as to whether people actually find this to be a problem? The only time I ever actually open my inventory is when I need to repair gear, so that means maybe once every other day, usually longer.
Are people actually opening their inventory that frequently that not having a dedicated button is a problem? If so, for what purpose?

Hmm, well, I don't play FFXIV anymore, but I did on launch, and trading items with people or getting rid of items(trashing) or crafting all required to open your inventory. It was rather irritating not having a key for it. Also, there were too many "are you sure?" screens that you had to click through before your function actually executed.
If the system worked as fast as say, WoW's UI, or WAR's, or AIon's even, then it would have been twice as tolerable. But when I played, the UI lag compounded the issue and made it simply unbearable for me.
Another useless and old review with false info, making XIV sound worse than it currently is. You can remap all functions to a desired key, so if ya need to open your inventory with the I or B key, you can now...
