I like the hammer of faith. The guardian are clearly a pally but thye have added some pretty nice ideas to it. Wont be my main class but still pretty nice.
this is definetely a class i would enjoy playing, but maybe not as my primary ... im still thinking between this, warrior and coming rogue/assassin class .. and who knows maybe theres some other class that makes me want to play that first off :P
I like the looks of the Guardian. I'm not sure what this Paladin thing people talk about is, but it must be from an lesser game, as the Guardian is clearly a Wammo, which was definately a staple build in GW.
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.

You sir. Are awesome. Look me up when you start to play, I need officers.

I'm still waiting for the Mesmer class and the class they keep hinting about using the environment.

A lesser game? Like pen and paper D&D and a large majority of fantasy settings?

I wouldn't say Paladin is from a lesser game, unless you have no idea of D&D and most fantasy settings, as opposed to the "wammo" from GW. People will obviously relate it to the most popular.
Not really, warrior of same level as guardian will always have more health, but guardian has faster health regeneration.
You allocate your stats yourself when you level, a guardian who puts more points into vitality (health) than a warrior will have more health than a warrior.

One would assume we're not giving one class some arbitrary advantage here. A Guardian's minimum health is lower than a Warrior's minimum health, and a Guardian's maximum health is lower than a Warrior's maximum health. It's fair to say that Guardians have less health than Warriors.

How do you know a warrior's max health is more than a guardian's max health? I really don't think you do. Maybe the guardian gets more health than the warrior with each point put into vitality. We don't know, you can't make assumptions like that and pass them off as fact. All we know about this is that guardians start with less health than warrior but regenerate it faster.

For the record. You aren't allowed to do that. You try to it will come up with "This attribute is useless for your class". That way, won't go too far astray. They are nice like that.

The Guardian page seems to have been put up rather hastely.
No, it was just my browser which didn't show it all. Chrome damn you.

Quite liked the videos, but the class seems like it's bad for the game.
The all bubble everyone idea seems too powerfull and might be detrimental in Group vs Group dinamics...then again the game isn't even in beta.
Inside the bubble you can't use any skills.
It's also an elite skill.

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
Wall of Deflection is epic I LOL'd when I saw the mob pwning himself. xD
I want to reborn as a Sylvari.

I laughed so hard when he smacked those two grawl with the hammer and sent them flying.
Lol-worthy.
It never gets old.
This is not a game.
So is it safe to assume this is the reinvented monk class? With bits of paragon and ritualist thrown in for good measure?
This may actually tempt me away from the necromancer...
not a chance...not for me anyways...
weeeellllll...maybe.
I used to TL;DR, but then I took a bullet point to the footnote.
Guardians have less health than warriors and Anet has said that a poorly played Guardian will die faster than a warrior.
They said less STARTING health, theres a difference.
