Currently im playing a healing Cleric for everything from Rifts to dungeons to warfronts.
i started creating a good melee Dps build for soloing that focuses on the Shaman soul tree.
All in all its worked out ok.
I initially when deep shaman build with second and third trees being Druid for the healing pet and Purifier for some self heals and a ranged spell or two for pulling.
I found the spells of the purifier werent really geling with my combo due to spell push back so i grabbed a caster build that was more insta cast and dot oriented.
This didnt suit my play style either.
Finally i finished him off with a Shaman/Druid/Justicar build. Basically gives me a healing pet, great burst damage, a ton of self buffs and heals off procs.
Its ok.
But im still trying to work out how deep im going to go into the shaman tree. Will I go 31/31/4 ? or get crazy deep into shaman by going 51.
Maybe someone who also uses a similar spec can give me some ideas. Maybe ill drop the justicar tree... maybe even the druid im trying to get good damage but not lose the survivability that the Cleric calling is known for.
Any ideas would be awesome. thanks in advance.

I went heavy Justicar with the 'surplus' points in Druid. Zero downtime and only died when taking on equal level or above major rifts solo.
Played up to 30 btw.
I have played as a Justicar (main)/shaman/druid. It was a blast, sure you don´t get the mage crits, but i´m such a buffed up unkillable monster. This should get some nerfs somehow
It´s fun though, a very viable solo build.
Like Darwa i also went heavy Justicar, and spend most other points into shaman. You can´t really do anything wrong, you can always respec/swap souls anyway.
"i'm a leaf on the wind watch how i soar"
I haven't planned for 50 yet, so this is all based off my experience at 30 and how I specced.
First build (Shaman/Justicar/Sent): http://rift.zam.com/cluster/stc.pl?t=00rnj.xu.VVx0cGccz
Great survivability in PvE, somewhat decent in PvP. Unfortunately, it does get a little boring spamming Crushing Blow and Massive Blow, especially when you're not critting.
Second build (Druid/Shaman/Sent): http://rift.zam.com/cluster/stc.pl?t=00anj.VgzR0st.VVL
The Greater Faerie helps immensely with survivability. More utility (snare, sleep, silence) and 2 shields. I didn't get to test out this build in PvP as much, because I switched on the last day of beta.
I enjoyed both builds, but I would have to say that I favored the Druid/Shaman/Sent build more. Great survivability, more utilities and the casting animation for the Greater Faerie is awesome! =D
This is a similar build with the fellow before me, aka heavy druid build with a bit of shaman and sentinel for that tier1 heal:
http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00anj.VxtMhcx0z.VV
The advantage is that you have 3 emergency heals + a shield, besides the pet that is constantly auto healing and group healing. Also your bombard snares, which is always good for PvP. If you want to make it even more PvP heavy you can remove points from somewhere and add them to the sleep and silence spells.
Thanks guys!
Im going to be playing with those soul planners the rest of the weak.
My ultimate goal with my Cleric will be building a Healing, melee dps, Tank and Full caster soul spec as my four saved specs to switch between depending on situation.
I have the Healing spec down (more of a caster healer than a melee one), Got the tank build down and im in love with my caster spec.
Melee Dps for me is important because i do play on a pvp server and will continue that way (yeah... i cant believe it) so the spec i will be using most of the time for solo/survival will be my melee build.
Thanks again for the help and if anyone wants to chime in with their favorite cleric build no matter the role go for it. I could always use other ideas in making this calling even more intersting than it is.

I tried Druid, Shaman, Inquisitor, today. I went in to Inquisitor to get two instant dots and a nuke for a investment of two points. The rest was going in to Druid and Shaman. I didn't get to play to long with this spec but it was a lot of fun. I would pull with the nuke and drop my two dots then melee them down. Those extra two dots and the nuke for pulling added a lot to the class that was all melee the first time I tried it out when I had justicar instead of Inquisitor.
Hmmm... The Druid tree really looks cool.
Damn looks like ill be rolling two clerics before im done. its impossible for me to get the most out of that calling with just four saved spec slots.
Now if they have 6-8 slots... i wouldnt need to roll a second lol

I made a very similar post on the beta boards. Hehe
It has:
Greater Fairy with the enrage spell-
+10 crit, with many crit based talents-
3 heals, one aoe, one self, and a HoT-
An enormous amount of self buffs-
A warrior like charge-
Some range spells like a meteor spell-
Two shield spells-
All in all I'm eager to try this out
I personally want to be a high end melee dps that also uses magic and dots so the cleric is looking great for me...
I have created what I think are 2 good Lvl 50 builds... one for grouping and raiding that is pure dps and not much survivablitiy and the other is a solo build.
The 1st is for Grouping/Raiding its Druid/Shaman/Inquisitor: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00dan..Vgx0h0txo.EVx0chcck
For this build I went through the tree selecting all the talents that increased damage in any way possible as well as mana regen while skipping over utility talents like snares and any survivability talents other than the shamans unstoppable force (unavoidable) which allowed me to reach the top talent in both trees which should make for great dmg out put then i pick up inquisitor as a 0 point tree for its insta cast dot that can be apply while charging in. My only worry with this build is that it may have to many skills to manage and will need somewhat heavy testing to find what skills are best used when and what to prioritize
The 2nd is for soloing its Druid(main)/Shaman/Justicar: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00ran.xu.Vgx0h0txo.EVx0M0c
My druid tree is Identical to that of my previous build and i took out a few points of shaman in order to put enough points into justicar to get an AoE heal, aswell as a buff to the heals from salvation. In this build you can interchange druid and shaman as the main tree I just like the idea of having a pet along side me so i use the druid.
Those are my two builds let me know what you think
