Sorry guys, I know I probably shouldn't be asking this on here, but it's the quickest way to get a proper answer - what is the current position with Xyson regarding a final wipe? Am I right in saying that it will take place this Tuesday, March 1? Thanks....

That is just an assumption. The final wipe will happen when the devs believe the program will be ready for it. It seems we have the servers this morning, at least new download servers. They will keep testing the changes, looking for other problems, and announce the launch when the game is truly ready.... at least we can hope.

Thanks for that Joli. You know I think these guys are precious close to screwing this up. They have something going on here and people are up for it, but the longer they string this out, the more they risk the community's goodwill, I feel.

The issue with the original launch was that, up until the beta ended, there were only about 200 people logged in, tops. When the game got close to launch, a ton of people preordered, and the game was looking at more like 3,000+ simultaneous logins. The lag brought on issues with database corruption, server stability, and other processes that couldn't be seen before. So they had to purchase new hardware and get to work on a lot of the last second bugs that popped up.
