Trion Worlds not honoring pre-order agreements

Trion after seeing its servers overloaded has decided not to honor its pre-order agreements in order to keep players that already payed from coming in until they have gathered more server capacity.

One such example is Trion'0s arrangement with walmart where any player who pre-orders from walmart is to email Trion for a pre-order code in order to take part in the "head start." Players who have pre-ordered 5 days ago have yet to receive any response from Trion who is quietly trying to sweep the problem under the rug by not mentioning it in any of their update threads. Furthermore, these same players cannot post on the forums since they dont have a pre-order code to apply to their accounts.

I spoke to a GM who said "I don't see what the problem is" and "Perhaps you should order from another source." Apparently, Trion sees nothing wrong in not honoring its pre-order agreements. 

This is perhaps a bad omen of things to come as Trion's customer service is pushed to provide some kind of service to its customers.

One of my friends preordered from gamestop, he had no issue getting in on the 24th. Another preordered thru best buy I think, also no issues. I had no issues either, but I preordered thru trion.

And your ticket number with Trion support is what exactly?  How does someone who can't play talk to a GM?  Fail-troll.

I do not like feeding a troll but those replies? He said "walmart" your gamestop and bestbuy's work replies has no merit to his post. As far as a how did he petition out of game? You ever seen "email support" just about every MMO has it, and so does Trion.

Maybe he is right and Trion is not answering the emails?

agreed walmarde is terrible when it come to support BUT isnt that his point perhaps there IS somekind of problem here?

Hint: They say they'll provide keys for walmart pre-orders. Walmart says Trion is the provider of keys.

Also, people(my friend included) phoned them and they said that everything was alright and they would get to it and never did.

I think you would have received a more positive response from people if you had stuck to just the facts and not kicked off with baseless consipracy theory tinfoilhattery.
