I've looked for game with X+Y and found all in Wurm online

I've been looking for a building type of game.

i come from asheron's call and everquest from 2000-2005 and then played every game out there getting bord very fast.

the only other game i liked a lot but had a hard time staying with becuase of population was horizons now istaria

i liked horizons because of the house or buisness building. guilds building towns and trade economy. plus i like the open class system. and i love skill based characters. from my love of asheron's call. i have 6 accounts with both AC 1 and EQ 1

i also liked anarchy online because of the skill base.

playing every other game out there just never found what i really wanted.

darkfall online came close . skill base again and building cities. but limited.

xyson is coming. and i've been in beta a few weeks i like it and i bet it will be what i want with better graphics then my current favoriate game. but currently only has about half of what wurm online has.

what brought me to Wurm online:

village building as a guild or solo. build diff sizes of building. stone and wood. diff types of fences. grow crops to feed self. and cotten for cloth and wemp for ropes. fishing and cooking.

also the trerroforming is fun. diggin and droping dirt to raise. fill in water tiles for a more land or make a harbour for the ships we can build.

mining a huge part and fun part of the game. . folks mine near water lvl and then down to the water lvl tunnels to take ships through mountains. making canals.  mining for diff ores iron. lead,copper,zinc,gold,silver and tin. mix some ore to make brass for other items.

the whole forge thing. a tone of blacksmithing, armorsmithing ect.

crafting is huge for me.

also raising animals. and breeding them

owning a home is easy find a pc of land and build. or better yet. buy land with ingame silver that you can eigther buy for real money. or make items and sell for or like more do go work for someone. i paid a guy 6 silver to dig me a mine and flatten a hill side for my farms took a week. a lot of work. we had fun. and 6 silver is = 6 EU 10$ us i think not bad for so many hrs work.

owning land cost 10silver for the paperwork. and placing a 11x11 tiles deed. we can go much bigger , i now have 14x 42 tile deeded land cost me 14 silver. monthly upkeep is silver also . but again just craft or work.

you can play this game free. limit to not owning land. but still build houses and not just one, also skills limit to 20

monthly cost to be paying customer is also cheap. you can pay 50eu for 6 month or 10eu per month and the 10 eu comes with 5 silver. i pay the 2 months for 25 eu and get 15 silver with it.

you can have alts in the game. some rules about it . but it helps to get more land and expand your village

there really is a ton to the game

combat. well it exist. and needed on pvp server. on the non pvp server freedom. you need for critters. although u can run away from them.

graphics. well kinda bad. but if you can get over that and the bad combat if your like me and don't care for combat.

this game might be worth the free try. the first day or two you might want to quit. first thing is don't be afraid to ask in game for help. also read the wiki  ton of info on that

if you like building and long lasting game. good for casual gamers too. as a casual player and free player. i'd suggest joining a village before making your own
