2D MMORPG?

I started playing MMOs with Ultima Online and have yet to find a game I enjoy as much as I did Ultima before EA games ruined it.  What I'm wondering is if there are any good Indie 2D MMOs?  I'm looking for something with a decent amount to do and customization would be a huge plus.

 

If anyone knows of any good ones please please let me know :)
