Hey guys. I was curious about the rest of the mmorpg.com community and their seniority. I've been a member since 2004 even though my post count hasn't been very high. I mainly joined back then just to do it honestly. I've seen this site grow throughout the years and i'm glad I became apart of it. Now that i'm a little older i'm going to try to stay more consistant with my posts and keep up with the community.
Who else here has many years of seniority and has seen the site grow?

I have an older account that I had around 2005 but then I gave up on MMOs and I forgot my username/password/email for that one lol. I came back to mmorpg.com just recently ^_^

See old member sticky, please.
i mostly lurk.
The sticky: "Calling all 'OLD' members" thread plays on who's notorious for sticking around. Dekron, myself, and a few others are among that group.
You'll notice, there are people who've been here even longer than us that lurk, as the other person stated. If interested, I would continue a discussion within said sticky.
KillerTwinkie - That one guy who used to mod mmorpg.com's forums.
like KillerTwinkie I have been here awhile. We were both MODs at one point in time.
When I signed up, there was probably about 3,000 members and the site was kinda different. Same colors but different types of layouts.
Also, the forums were a lot more civil at first lol...well kinda
KT, remember when Murt got his television stolen by another member here who used to me a MOD as well lol

As I. We are still listed as mods under the 'About us' section. Well, your old self anyways.
YES! It was Djin... That man took Murt for a whirlwind ride. I used to think Djin was cool; in fact, when they pulled Djin as a mod, they conferenced with me thinking I would walk away from the boards.
@Dekron: The crew listed there did a lot of ground work before any system was in place. I remember skipping a highschool class just to delete spam posts, b/c ban was not an option.

omg i remember when ban wasn't an option and we had this great, big DELETED stamp that covered the entire post lol
those were good times

I always thought that was hilarious, then you could point and laugh at the user...and he couldn't report you, because he couldn't see you laughing.

Hey peeps. I'm here every day, have been since I registered.

For 7 years, proving that if you quote "fuck" you won't get banned.
Damn and I thought I had some serious seniority. Nice!
I've lurked the forums for about a year now. Decided today that I'd join so I could finally post my 2 cents on topics.
Talk about a blast from the past in regards to a memory!
Now that I can look back on it and not fret over the money, I can see that it was a life lesson well-learned.... he was still a prick for doing it though, haha.
Cheers, always great to drop in and say the occasional 'hey'.
As for the OP -- as others have pointed and stated, there's a sticky

I joined this website after somebody told me about City Of heroes while I was playing Everquest for the ps2...I didn't use the website much except for posting stuff in the Pirates of the Burning Sea forum and rating games that I had already played....then I discovered off topic and found a wealth of stupidity to be fought.
