I've been carefully inspecting some of the phots released from the past week at PAX. I caught a glimspe of a huge ship on top of new lion's arch's arch. At first I didn't make anything out of it, but now I'm starting to think that we'll be able to ride this huge ship, or should I say airship. Has anyone heard anything about air travel? Will this ship be used in future travel to other lands? Surely, this would be a nice surprise. Anyhow, I posted the picture below; what do you make out of this?
Thief infront of New Lion's Arch

Its not an airship. Lion's Arch was flooded and was rebuilt using rubble and the remains of ships that were scattered about.
Ships have been built into buildings before, I am pretty sure there is a story behind this.
But it doesn't really look like a airship to me. I guess it is an important ship for the humans they decided to build into the city but that is just a guess.
Edit: that sound likely Romanator. Dang, my net is slow tonight, takes 2 minutes everytime I press send...
I suppose I missed reading how they went about construction. But! Why does the ship look so new? Also, why would the arch look like some sort of loading dock?
If you look closely you'll notice the ship is built into the dock.
There is no Air travel what so ever
I see it more as the ship is nestled nicely into the arch. Hmmm, you'll notice long tensile rope attached to the ship. I'm not sure why I keep going on about this, but I thought this'd be interesting if it turned out to be something more than meets the eyes.
Here is a link that talks about what happened to Lion’s arch after the Dragon Zhaitan rose from the oceans of Orr. The city is just build out of ships; they do not server any functionality at all besides residences. Although if you read the last book it talks about sailing out and fighting the minions of Zhaitan, so there is a possibility we might be able to sail on a boat at some point in the game.
