Don't take the negative posts about Rift in this forum to heart. These are simply fanbois that are all upset their particular game isn't getting the attention Rift is right now.
Rift is growing like mad, servers are so full it's hard at times to quest but that will pass.

I played WoW for 6 years. I played the Rift trial for one day and the next day I bought the collector's edition, unsubbed from WoW and completely removed it from my game drive.
Rift is like crack and I just can't get enough... maybe I need a doctor :P
I got 2 irl friends to sign up just need 1 more person to buy the game for the special mount. Ill give the 1st person to buy the game 2.5 plat to buy your first mount, an 18 slot bag, and a guild invite. Guild perks include 9 percent more planarite. Join Epoch defiants and /tell Pria after you have bought it.
If you read through the rift forums you will see Wolfsbane Defiant is the server and side of choice for PVE. Most other servers are pretty empty meaning its hard to get dungeon groups.
Give RIFT a shot! It is a great game, worth a trial at the very least.
