The offical forums conain a massive amouint of Elistist Fanboyism.

I could care less about Prem tanks and what not. But I wanna play with friends of mine. WoT is the only F2P game that you must pay money in order to play with 2 other friends of yours.
People complain about entitlement and stuff. I just want to play with friends but I guess thats too much to handel i guess.
All I want is to play with my friends but I guess thats too much to ask.

No, not at all. If a free game doesn't offer the exact features that you and your friends want, or in the exact way that you want, you need to make a forum thread about it.
If that doesn't help, make a new thread at a 3rd party forum, and start namecalling, like fanbois and so forth.
This will automatically give you lots of street (and forum) cred, and eventually force the developers to adjust the game to serve your needs.

Every other F2P has the abilty to play with your friends without jump thing through hoops.
I see you don't refute that you are an eliteist fanboy of the game.
OK so I got to ask since I don't play wot, how does this friend thing work? I kind of dont understand how you cant play with them.
I had an old friend im me asking me to come over and play, so I was thinking ok maybe I should give it a try even considerin g other posts in these forums that have contained nothing but flames.
So how does it work does it stick you on different servers or somethng or the other. I guess Im going to have to give my friend a call and ask.
If you and a friend want to platoon up and play together. One of you has to pay 15 dollars to get the prem account.
OK is that per month or a one time fee.
Its 2500 in game gold per month for a premium account, which gives you bonus xp/cradit gain from battles as well as allowing you to form a 3-man platoon. 250 gold costs $1, so it would be $10/month, though I don't believe they sell 2500 gold packages. Only the player who forms the platoon needs to be premium - you don't need it to join them.
