Yes.
A poster linked this vid a couple days back and it really brought up something to me.

A lot of games are F2P these days, and a lot more are going that way. Tons of people are either on the offensive, based on ideology, which I won't argue about, but others don't simply because of the time investment to register/dowload/play. I've played a TON of F2P games, and still have a dozen or so on my comp that are still worth playing now and then. I'm sure you've even asked yourself, at least once, "do I want to bother downloading that?". Well, why not? Have we gotten to the point where an hour or so to DL a new taste of a game is too much hassle to deal with?
~this is coming from a guy that waited 9 hours for a 4mb demo of Fallout 1 through cnet around 15 years ago.

I recommend lots of soap and new clothes.
do you mean, "Not" worth a try?
Everything.... is worth trying, at least once. Eh... especially in the gaming world... and also, maybe, in the food industry.
Yeah I apologise about it coming up blank.

Well I think there is a point where something is obviously like something you know you don't like, then you can pretty much pass it up and dismiss it.
Otherwise yeah I don't want to be bothered to download a game and register for it just so I can uninstall 30 minutes later.
All men think they're fascinating. In my case, it's justified
I guess with Steam and some great download managers I don't notice.
I'll TRY anything out there. Tried Global Agenda just a lil' bit ago. About an hour to get 6 gigs downloaded. It's uninstalled now, but I gave it a try.
I mean for free to try something, a lil' waiting isn't that big of an issue. Unless you're doing something stupid like using your 3G phone as your primary connection and downloading a gig or two of data ends up costing you.
No, nothing is worth a try. Just wait for SWTOR and GW2.

I think we have all been spoilt & got lazy too, theres to much choice & its to easy to access
& in a short time on high speed connections (i include myself in this)
It sounds crazy but the old games were just so much more fun & had playability,
the old FPS & MMO games have never been beaten / improved imo, in the last 6yrs
i've floated from game to game never lasting more than a couple of months.
I think we expect to much now based of the standard set on old games, the newer
games just fail to impress me or offer any sort of innovation.
