Which one?

EQ 2 or Lotr?  Which freemium can I get more out of as a free user? Or should I just stick to f2p games that are less p2w than most?  I enjoy f2p as well as p2p games, but for now I am looking for a f2p game that I can get alot out of that is not a p2w game.

    I play the p2p EQ II and have heard from the f2p players that it sucks because you have to put out money for almost anything you want, including access to the chat, so I think you'd be better off playing p2p EQ II, or for f2p LoTRO. :)

    Can we see on the other side? No, but can the other side see us? Maybe, maybe not, guess we won't find out until we're supposed to.

    Ty.  Its good to know about the chat restrictions.  I guess it's some kind of restricted global chat or something along those lines.  Restrictions like that make a game feel very empty, Ex. Requiem

    I never played Requiem, but I know that when I play a single player game, sometimes I miss the chat popping up with everyones new post now and again. XD  Ex. Neverwinter Nights.

    But yup, best bet would be LoTRO, unless you had another game as an option?  Or wanted anymore suggested?

    Ya, its hard 4 me to get into singleplayer games at all anymore 4 the same reason.  And I am always open to suggestions.  I have tried a ton of mmos over the past years f2p and p2p.

    Well, for p2p I am a big supporter of EQ II all the way.  :)

    As for f2p I like games such as Grand Fantasia, Perfect World International's games, and right now I've gotten into Ryzom.

    I liked LoTRO and DDO for the feeling of a console game with having other players. :)

    lotro f2p is pretty good i think but if you want a bettter experience you will have to spend some money here and there.  or you will have to grind out lots of deeds on alts to get enough turbine points to buy everything you need/ want.  some things i spent a few bucks on were the gold cap, being able to sell on the auction house, and an additional inventory bag.  you are able to quest up thru the lone lands (around level 30) for free, after that you have to buy the quest packs for each zone.

    other stuff like virtue slots and the riding skill you can easily get while playing one character, as long as you knock out all the deeds in the 3 starting zones.

      i have heard that if you subsrcibe for a month you get all the bags for free and when you unsubscribe you can keep them on any chracters you made during the subscription.  maybe a few more things you get for free like the higher gold cap, but i'm not sure.

    also they always have sales on stuff for 20 percent off so just keep a lookout every week.

    note: as always this is all my personal experience and views, so take it with a grain of salt

    the struggle to free myself from restraints becomes my very shackles

    Thnx 4 the info.  Seems like freemiums may be worth it if I really indulge in the game.

    And Ive played Grand Fantasia, PW and tried FW but couldnt seem to get into it.  Its a shame cuz I was really looking forward to FW when it was in CB, but it just doesnt do it for me.  I cant get into any games that have an auto tracking function, just seems to automated.;
