my current system is
Core 2 duo e6750 @ 2.66
4 gig memory
geforce gt 430
win 7 64 bit
i am inteneding to spend a total of £800 but in two lots of £400 . also the mobo and chip/memoery is going into a second pc . so i need to knw what would be the best wayy forward . do the graphics card or motherboard first if so what type etc . any herlp much appriciated

What components do you already have that you're going to keep for the computer, and what components are you going to buy new? For the ones you're planning on keeping, list the exact components you have.
Or are you going to keep the old computer functional, while building a new one entirely? And what does "two lots of £400" mean? That you have £400 to spend today, and £400 later?
sry didnt make it clear i will have 2 lots of £400 so one to go on the mobo/main chip and the other on the card . i am only keeping the hds dvd and case the guts of this current one is going into another case already got
