Guignol69 Had the idea in the previous thread about what our favourite, least favourite profession was, by dbstylin34, found here, that we have a poll on this to see more easily where the spread is on who likes what for this game.
So let's have it. What is your favourite profession. Mine is, in case you didn't already know, the mesmer. I have included it here because I feel like we can all assume it will be the next profession, for a plethora of reasons we have gone over and over and over again.
So, what is your favourite profession?

WTF? No subscription fee?

Oh my, amazing turn out for the Engie, there.
It's just cause it's the new class on the block. The hype about it will die down soon, especially once the mesmer/mentalist/whatever is out. I however, have been wanting an alchemist/utility/gun & shield style class for years. Funny it all came together in the same class on top of it.

I'm a rapscallion at heart, and so I always gravitate towards the thief-style classes. Witchhunter, rogue, thief, in UO it was all Hiding and Stealth and Snooping and Stealing (RP'd to the highes caliber, for realz). That ANet released a real thief type rather than an assassin type makes me glad.
It's gotta be P.I.M.P, pimping ain't easy.
It has to be eng for me, I was in a toss up with war and what ever the new class was going to be because I knew it would have guns and I wanted to use a rifle or pistol. But once I saw that I could have a pistol and shield I was pretty much sold. Not to mention it looks like engineer can make a really strong support class that isn't melee which is why I didn't want guardian.

I can't decide right now. I will have to play each to find out which is my favorite. Right now Necromancer will be my main only because it was my main in GW1.
Can't believe Engineer has the most votes 0_0
The newest profession always gets the most votes.
Well the classes look awesome, but sad to see invisibility is in this game as well.
For me might be Eng or Ranger, but ill prob end up playing the mage type classes like I always seem to do
Engineers use rifles, so that is my favorite profession by default.
Engineer, of course.
Necromancer and engineer, even when mesmer or whatever the GW2 equivalent is I will still go for necromancer or engineer, Never liked mesmers. We still dont have a confirmation that the last profession is a mesmer so..Who knows I always hated Mesmers though >_>
hehehe,hahahahaHAHAHAHA
laughing Hyena, get used to it -_-
Gonna go Thief because of my roguish tendencies, however the Engineer looks amazing and the Elementalist seems like they will surprise people. I'd like to play one that's focused on Air elements.
I really can't decide. I love ele, necro and mesmer equally! My favourite three characters from GW1 but never could tell which one was my favourite...
Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.
I am going ranger, cause i will own all engies....
Uhh... what?
Hm, a lot of people actually seem invested in Engineer, like they were waiting for it. You can count me in that number, because one of the two characters I want to create is an Engineer, and I've been talking about it for a while. I think all of those who're fans of Engineers and have had to stay quiet now have a voice, and are happy, and have what they want in the game.
I wouldn't be surprised if the votes reflect that, rather than 'oh hey, newest prof gets most votes.'
Good old warrior. I've always started on the most basic of the basic melee class for every MMO I start.
Well for me I can't deceide since all of the classes hace damn interesting and cool mechanics... Looks like I will have to get a place in Beta so I can deceide which class suits me the most :-D
(in no particular order)
Norn/ Charr Guardian - playing mostly with a 2 handed Hammer and about to bring destruction to all enemies, make my comrades stronger offensively and if needed defend/heal them
Asura/Human Necromancer - deathshroud is an amazing ability and I love the very dark look & feel of the class
Norn/Human/Sylvari Ranger - I was a Hunter way back in the WoW days and I loved tracking down my prey and always having my pet accompany me, the pet evolution system sounds awesome
some Thief - being able to use guns and close combat weapons equally well - you gotta love that.
Charr Engineer - This class looks like it has nearly to many possibillities to impact combat, and in WvWvW holding a base as an engineer will be a lot of fun. I love that. Plus he has a jump shot.
the remaining classes are also cool though not my primary focus. I am shocked by the way that the mage didn't get many votes.
WA/MO *grin*
Elementalist
Guardian is my favourite so far, I loved playing Paragon in Nightfall so the Guardian seems to fit my playstyle best.
I do have a Necromancer alt on Guild Wars at the moment though, and I'm finding it really fun to play, so I think I might have to have a Necromancer alt in Guild Wars 2 as well!
For me it isn't, I just love being able to do different things in a battle if I want to. It keeps te battle from getting stale. Of course you could say the same for every profession but the Engi just has that large arsenal you can have lots of fun with.
This is not a game.
I am undecided. Warriors/Guardians are on the bottom of my list though. All I know is that I will roll a Norn
Since apparently this would be my idea : I'd have to participate to the thread at least
Ranger for life !!!
How unbelievable engineer steals all the votes : what a surprise !
Looks like we're gonna get some turrets in pvp...
It's just one step from the sublime to the ridiculous.
