re-download and Install EVE?

This is abit of a PC question but its related to EvE online :-)

 

I downloaded and installed EvE on my D drive partition a month ago. Since then I've formated my C windows XP drive and installed windows 7 62bit.  I noticed tonight that I was able to simply start playing EvE from D drive without having to redownload and install the game on my new operating system.

 

I'm just curious if running EvE is fine this way or if I'm better to uninstall the game and re-download and install with my new operating system.

 

Hopefully I'm clear about my question...I've had afew drinks too many lol

It's fine, the drive partition is seperate, you're just missing some registry keys and shortcuts on that install of windows, usually no biggy.

Awesome man. i always thought formatting my windows drive meant redownloading and installing games.

 

Back in the game baby!! Much sooner then i thought :-)
