Per the VP of marketing at bioware: "Keep an eye on http://store.origin.com/ for a batch of exclusive content being released tomorrow." This was posted over 6 hours ago on his twitter page.
Stephen Reid on the official site states, "Also, post-press conference, look out for an exclusive on http://store.origin.com/."
Keep in mind Origin is EA's new digital download store. EA already has a page seperate from Origin that has information about the game, as does Bioware.
Sounds tasty!
Cheers!

I doubt it's pre-order to be honest. It's sutff like trailers.
StephenReid General Discussion -> Officially Unofficial E3 2011 Thread
Hello all! Thought it was about time, on the eve of E3 (well, the press conference pre-E3 anyway) that we get this stickied.
Tomorrow, everything starts! The EA press conference happens from 12:30pm local Los Angeles time, which is 3:30pm Eastern Standard, 8:30pm UK time and 9:30pm for the rest of Europe. It'll last about an hour.
You can watch the press conference via live stream on EA.com here:
http://live-event.ea.com/e3/
If you live in the US and have Spike TV as a cable channel, you can watch it live there too.
As I confusingly explained earlier via Twitter, during the press conference you may see some stuff that will spoil you (in a kind of minor way) for other... stuff. Not in-game stuff, by the way. All I will say is, check back on The Old Republic site tomorrow. There will be... stuff.
Also, post-press conference, look out for an exclusive on http://store.origin.com/
Last but not least! We're going to have a great show... but don't assume you're about to learn every single thing you've ever wanted to know about The Old Republic in the next week. Some of your questions will be answered, some will not. Like I said before, just strap in and enjoy the ride.
I'll try my best to pop in to this thread and others during the show to talk and respond to questions, but bear with me (and others)... there are busy days ahead.
Before I forget, too - if you're in the LA area please come join us for some very informal drinks at the Figueroa Hotel on Wednesday from 8pm.
PS - Thank you to GameWiz for starting this thread, and please thank him for doing the work to keep this thread updated during E3!
i don't think its preorder details. im thinking tor merchandise or something
i cant wait until 230pm CST, they are going to be talking about alot of stuff
personally im just glad i can watch it on tv this year as opposed to having to watch the stream that keeps crashing due to thousands of other people trying to watch XD
I may be confused on this but isn't origins just a downloading software ala steam or some such. If it's just software i don't see merchandise as being apart of it.
I guess it's possible to order something from origins and have it shipped to your house but to be quite frank i don't know what the info will be, could be almost anything.
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
could be. honestly i haven't really check much information on Origin since i plan to buy the game in a store. so unless they require us to login to origin to log into the game i don't plan to use it. you are probably right though.
They are very similar, but with Origin you can buy physical copies of games aswell. I've never tried to look up and buy any kind of merchandise or physical product on the eastore though, so I'm not sure if merchandise would be included there.
I very much doubt they will be giving out the launch date, since they said they wouldn't be giving it out at E3.
My thoughts exactly. Pre-order means they have an internal date for release. However dallas, the executive producer has already said they still have a lot of work in progress. So it's still a way off. ALso check swtor's events page. If you read it carefully it suggests that release is between :
21st August - 26 August.
Prays it's on the 25th of August cause that would be an awesome Birthday present for me.

I don't see this hapen since the EU beta has not started yet. 21st - 26st August is just to close. Unless.. the EU beta has started and i am not invited..
EU beta HAS already started. I have two guild members who are already in there.
bit of an update on what to expect on origin:
StephenReid General Discussion -> Officially Unofficial E3 2011 Thread
All, I honestly apologize for unintentionally raising anyone's hopes overnight with a mention of Origin.com. I probably should have expected it, but late night posting, long day, etc.
Origin.com is going to be hosting a number of exclusive content reveals after today's EA press conference. The Old Republic will be one of them. This is on the website, and you're not required to download the Origin desktop app.
Everything kicks off at 12:30pm Los Angeles time - about 5 hours from now.
Keep calm and carry on, as we like to say in England.
It has? Hmm, there is non such info on TOR's official forums. These 2 guildmates of yours, they are EU residents, yes?
well UK residents have been in testing for awhile, but about amonth ago or so, bioware or ea sent out an email saying that testing in the EU would start soon and that people could sign up. I think it was for the german and french localizations. i could be wrong about that. whether that testing has actually begun i also couldn't tell you
Edit: heres what was said about EU testing after the email was sent out. these posts were made at the begining of May so testing could have started up since then:

Alright all, here's some additional clarification.
First thing I want to clear up: this email was not an invite to Game Testing. (Sorry if you thought it was.) It was purely an email to encourage people to sign up for Game Testing in Europe.
Why did some of you get the email and others not? Here's how it breaks down.
The email was sent to some European residents who have previously 'opted in' to receive marketing emails from EA. (You could have 'opted-in' on a variety of different web sites, and it's possible you forgot that you did. )
It's also possible that as well as signing up to get email from EA, you also signed up here at SWTOR.com (and even signed up to be a tester). You may still have received the email. I can understand your confusion, but basically, nothing has changed. You're still on the list of people eligible to be selected for Game Testing.
Some of you may be signed up here on SWTOR.com but have not signed up to receive marketing emails from EA on another site. If that's the case, you won't be getting this email - but don't panic. You are also still eligible for Game Testing.
To re-iterate: the email was not an invite to Game Testing. It was purely to spread the word about Game Testing, ideally to people who don't already know. We have not sent any invites to Game Testing in Europe today.
Everyone living in Europe is still eligible to be selected for Game Testing, as long as they have signed up to be selected (at swtor.com/tester/). The email was sent in English, French and German as those are the primary languages for localization of the game.
Hope this clears things up a bit.

Being a Brit, you can correct me if I'm wrong here - but we're inviting people from North America, and I believe that classification includes Canada.
So, yes.
For everyone after this post who asks "And what about..." right now Game Testing is limited to North America and some UK testers; soon we'll be expanding to the rest of Europe.
(I realize I have not been specific in my definition of 'Europe' but that's because we're still in the selection process, and I don't want to promise (or deny) to people who may be in countries outside of the European Union.)

I made some calls to friends in the UK and Germany. It seems that the EU beta has indeed started and as usual the European south (Greece, Italy, Portugal and probably Spain) has been left out.
Oh well.
