I wouldnt call minecrafting crafting extensive.. its like 50 recipes at max.. and its horrible to use as you have to reference for mats other then a wiki website.. Dude i mean look at screenshots, watch some youtube videos.. you should be able to see and or decide for yourself..
Its like, Do you want a fully developed actual developement studio created game,
or some (despite my love for it) simple , basic, bad graphics viral internet sensation?
Since Minecraft is going to appear on the Xbox 360 with that abomination Kinect, I can no longer support or recommend the decision to purchase Minecraft. So by default, Fallen Earth.
Well, since Fallen Earth is going to be free to play, and may have a trial, I'd say give it a shot. Its one of the best recent MMOs I've played. Minecraft also has a free version you can test just to get the gist of it. Try both and see which one you like more.
Mine craft must be absolutely horrible , because I was just at the Fallen Earth forum here at MMORPG and it seems like everyone hates that game, clunky combat, bad controles, to much grinding, old graphics, if mine craft is worse holy cow it must suck bad
Minecraft is 100x times more interesting and inmersive than any MMO in the market today.
Yea for a week.. Until your finger hurts and you go blind and realize youve experienced all the content there is going to be for a long while.. then you spend another week building some neato structures... Then you exprerience the griefer ridden buggy multiplayer (or play privately with friends, which is better).. and then 75% of people move on to bigger better things...Like most of the MMO in the market today... lmao
Eddie... right now is a bad time to be in any forums relating to MMOs.
The genre is in some kind of slump.. and there are like little gangs of haters and trolls and EVERYONE is negative..
Everyone is pissed now they are realizing that big business america has taken note of their genre and is ruining it like everything else in existance..
So you want my honest advice? Pick a game and try it.. play it.. even crappy games can be fun if you go into it with a positive attitude.. You honestly sound like you are pretty noobified to me.. so dont let other people jade your outlook on a game. There is no game that does not have two sides of people.. And from experience the only people that spend time posting about a game, are the ones who hate it for wahtever reason.. the others are busy playing and socialising and having fun
Like im about to go do in my favorite mmo now that I hav e finished dinner GL to you

No offence intended but you couldn't be more off the mark with every post so far in this thread. Both games are about as far from each other as you can possibly get. Fallen Earth gets a ton of praise from most people, true the combat isn't as smooth as it could be but it's one of the most interesting MMOs out there on a market dominated by wow-clones. It also has probably the most helpful community I've ever come across in an MMO.
Play whichever takes your fancy, they're completely different experiences. Minecraft isn't an MMO for starters.

Try it out for yourself. A lot of people here have no tolerance for anything. Fallen earth really is a good game. You can level to max through quests or through crafting or through grinding mobs, the graphics are good if you run it on max, much better than minecraft even with mods, overall fallen earth isn't for everyone, but you at least have some progression. Once you make everything in minecraft, you're pretty much done with the game.
I even liked Terraria better than minecraft, at least there you had a ton of different monsters, some platforming gameplay, some interesting items, and PvP.

SGP game is still in Beta. Multiplayer is even behind that stage with many bugs. An SDK will be made available so people can make Multiplayer mods.

no offence Mask but Terraria looks like a game for 7 year olds
they seem to be similar games can u play minecraft multi player
I say both. One is going FTP and the other is cheap as dirt to pick up. One could act as a distraction when you get bored of the other, so twice the fun.

One is a full AAA MMO, the other is a Adictive game but nothing more then a Simcity whit mutiplayer mode.
Fallen Earth is a AAA MMO?
Thats interesting, I always thought it was an Indie MMO, Developed by an Indie Studio ...
Anyway, I've been playing FAR more MineCraft than any MMOs recently as the genre just sucks. But, as with anything, it comes down to personal tastes.
And the neat thing with MineCraft is you can add texture packs to it .. so the 90's graphics thing is totally wrong. Also, there are Mods that add new features and rules to the game, as well as Map Adventures, and some thriving MultiPlayer servers.
Comments
These two games are not similar in any fashion..
Minecraft is a building /adventure game yes with small multiplayer servers..
Fallen earth is a post apocalyptic MMORPG...
There are really nothing in common that I can think of.
Edit: Minecraft costs money.. and I read somewhere that fallen earth is going f2p soon.
So if you want to build things out of horribly low textured blocks... (think pre Nintendo 64) buy minecraft
If you like RPG's online.. as in.. uh grouping and quests and PvP etc.. play fallen earth
As posted above one is a mmorpg and the other is a small mutiplayer game if you was going to play one of them i would wait till fallen earth goes f2p and play it

Lmao W..t..f? um I am afraid to answer the OP question.

My choice would be fallen earth.

You could always google "fallen earth gameplay" and "minecraft gameplay" and pick whichever looks like more fun to you.

Easy choice.
Fallen Earth
Enough said
why the hell is there any tought between Fallen Eath and Minecraft..
One is a full AAA MMO, the other is a Adictive game but nothing more then a Simcity whit mutiplayer mode.
One is Pay2play the other buy2play. FE has good grapics for the date it released but you have to like the style, minecraft has 90's grapics.
one game all you do is quest quest quest, the other all you do is dig and build. FE has story and minecraft pure snadbox empy lands.
there is no F**** ground to compare them.
No offense taken, but its a really good game.
Its pretty much a more challenging Minecraft.
