Hey, guys! I'm a previous subscriber, so I can't post on the CoX forums. I looked at the side by side comparision for Freedom and it says that Going Rogue will be included for VIP players. I planned on purchasing GR as a Premium Player anyway, but I also learned that the Incarnate content will only be for VIP. This changes a bit for me.
Basically, my question is if I were to subscribe for a month just to get Incarnate costumes from the trials and Going Rogue, will I be able to keep the Going Rogue expansion AND the Ascension Armor pieces when my account lapses? I could care less about the Incarnate powers, which I know will be greyed out. Thanks a bunch, guys.
Please post this question on the forums for me if you do not know. I would really appreciate it if you did.

If it's your intention to buy GR as a premium player, I would advise you to snag a copy now. If you do get GR before CoX goes over to the Freedom model, then you'll have access to it as well as 2 extra global slots available to you as a premium consumer (on top of the base 2, plus any your purchased, plus any you may have earned from vet rewards).

If you purchased GR on an account it will ALWAYS have access to it and its features.
Anything you earned or bought for your account will ALWAYS be available to that account, whether it's VIP or Premium.

I don't plan on purchasing anything right now as I am in college so those two character slots will have to be passed. What I want to know is whether I get to keep Going Rogue expansion from being VIP, then back to Premium. I'm not talking about buying GR. It says that subscribed players will have Going Rogue included during Freedom. I figured if I subscribed for the Incarnate trials, I can knock two birds out with one stone.
So the plan is:
1. Wait until Freedom launches
2. Subscribe for one month so that I can do Incarnate trials for the Ascension costume pieces.
3. Get Going Rogue by that single subscription.
The clarfication I need is whether Going Rogue and the Incarnate costume rewards will remain accessible on my account when my sub expires. I don't wish to remain VIP.
You're welcome. Sorry I didn't answer it as you liked. I was merely making a point that if you spent $20.09, you can get a game code from Steam and get those additional perks. I'll see if I can track down some answers to your questions.
And I appreciate that, and I certainly would take advantage of that if I could, but all of this is a time issue since I don't have any level 50s and I'd hate to waste time to get up there during a paid month. Which is why Freedom is my best bet. Besides, I can't really game at this time.
But if you could inquire on this on the official forums or however, I would greatly appreciate that! You're plenty enough help!
So what happens to past subscribers?
Honestly feel like this will be the 3rd time I get screwed by these people at PlayNC. I'm pretty sure you can guess the other 2 but just incase you don't then Auto Assault and Tabula Rasa.
So my understanding of how GR will work with CoH:Freedom is this. If you're a free or premium player and purchase a month of the VIP subscription then you get all of the GR content, but then if you slide back into the premium rank you loose access to all GR content since you haven't actually purchased it. It's just a perk associated with the VIP monthly cost. You'd have to purchase the expansion to play through the content while you're a premium player.
As far as the costume pieces go I'm not sure. I'd imagine that if they count as 'GR content' that they'd work like what happens anytime a costume piece currently gets altered in the game. You get to keep it as long as you don't make any changes to that costume piece. When you go to the tailor to change the costume, those pieces will be removed from your character if you actually change the outfit.
So I can change my outfit, just not those pieces and they will stay on?
Also, could you ask if Ascension Armor will be removed as Premium on the forums for me, Nep? Rain had asked the first part for me.
