I just got a invite for 14 days, however after filling out all necessary information Masthead still wants a CC# to play their game?

The game is a joke cant even make an trail account.
Tried with 3 different emails and corresponding codes and it keeps saying they already in use.
Even willing to buy the crap for 30 euro's but i am sure it will still FAIL getting it to actualy WORK.
This was quite normal for trials in the past, not so much anymore. Alltho I do believe certain other companies still require you to input cc to initiate the trial.
Dont worry tho,they wont charge you until the end of the trial. During that period you can just cancel the recurring sub.
On another note. Game is really horrible. Good luck getting it to play properly. I coudlnt even get it to patch correctly thru the launncher, and got no help on the forums. Eventually i had to run the updater outside of the launcher and that finally worked. Only to get in game and find out everything is just not quite as it should be.
Sad thing really.
Well uninstalled it already. wasted time downloading 3gb and 2 hours trying to get it to work.
Stay far away from this game.
I dunno how you can have such a hard time installing the game. I just DL it and it worked smoothly all the time. Same goes for My friend that had it down and installed in 15 minutes. Yeah, he has some wicked internet connection to help him as well. And all in guild hasn't have any problems either. So I'm really curious to how you FAIL to DL it. Prolly says more about you then Earthrise as a game. I think any1 with alittle brain should DL it try the free trial for themselves. Don't listen to the whiners.Forums are mostly place for people to express their disappointment at something. Story repeats over and over for any game out there. But you are correct, it is really strange how someone can mess up with installation or game options when majority of people have no problems at all. If the game works for the majority, the problem is in the person who cannot figure out what to do, not in the game itself.

I had no issues downloading it or installing it. It doesn't use Pando Media Booster or anything like that, just straight up Bit Torrent. I also didn't need a credit card to get into the trial.
The game itself has some fundamental technical issues though. Long, long, long initial loading times and extended loading times when zoning into places. Adding 2 people and 5 mobs extends the loading time considerably it seems. Anti-aliasing doesn't seem to work at all...turns the entire screen yellow and you can't see anything. I zoned into the combat training area and after several delays and hiccups my character was stuck running. No button or button combination would stop it. I had to Alt-F4 to exit because running prevents you from logging out of the game.
I haven't uninstalled the game, but I'm not impressed and I don't see myself spending any money on the game. Had I not gotten stuck running, the game would have been marginally better than the release of the game.
Masthead should have taken notes from Trion and made a tiny world with a near flawless game engine. Then they could have spent the last four months expanding the game world rather than trying to make the game engine functional.
When Prime Online launches, if it run at all, it's going accidentally step on this game and smoosh all the subs out of it.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
