Do you remember Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast multiplayer?

It was so much fun! And it was like 10 years ago. I can't believe they didn't go with a twitch-style combat approach for swtor when they had it right so long ago. Lightsaber duels should be about skill. Sadly, the combat vids on swtor that I've seen looks nothing like JK2 :/

    haha yeah JK2 was awesome.  I remember that one lightsaber attack where you were crouched and then kind of lunged forward and came up with the lightsaber...my personal fave :).

    I seriously would have loved an SW game with more twitchy combat...that's what I wanted from SWG too.

    But c'est la vie.  Plenty of people like tab-target combat for some reason.  I'll still play the game regardless, but I would really like a twitch SW MMORPG to come out one day.

    Yeah, JK2 is my favorite Star Wars game, but playing it multiplayer showed alot of flaws and eventually it was reduced to people bunny hopping because that was the best way to kill your opponent.

    Battlefront 2 combat! Battlefront 2 combat! Battlefront 2 combat! Just make sure you remove choke/shock cheat.

    I wasn't a huge fan of the academy sequel. But we played the crap out of Outcast, so many duels and jedi master battles. So amazingly frantic trying to take down the Jedi.

    Loved outcast, but never what I would have expected from a Bioware game, so no surprise SWTOR is the way it is.

    Funny you say this. I had the urge and replayed Outcast a month ago. The multiplayer wasn't as fun as I remembered and the lightsaber swings feel kinda spaztic. Still a lot of fun when you make some sweet killer blows.

    Hell yeah Jedi Knight II was awesome used to play it on Kali all the time back in the day.

    one of our favorite games to play during the LAN parties we used to have.

    I actually just saw Outcast for sale at Office Depot for 10 bucks a couple days ago. I still play Jedi Academy very frequently! The community is still very alive!

    Like starwars? Like Martial Arts? Come join our community at schoolofwar.net and play some Jedi Academy while learning real life martial arts philosophy and combat to become a skilled player!
