Don't care for GW either, GW2 however is a sure thing. SW:ToR, it looks like their pricing may be more than it's worth. Depends on time frame for GW2 release. If it looks like really early 2012 or sooner, then I probably won't bother to check out SW:ToR. If the wait is too long and ToR sounds like it will be more than a couple months worth of entertainment, who knows.
So GW2, is the only sure thing for me.
Waiting for Guild Wars 2, and maybe SWTOR until that time...
No interest in GW2 (or GW1 for that matter). GW2 looks way too arcadey for me.
Pre-ordered SWtor though, as a SW fan, although fully prepared to be let down and rage quit within 2 weeks.

I voted both as I will definitely play them both at some point and time but there is no urgency for me to play GW2 just not all giddy about it like most of it's fans on this site if at some point I run through the story content on TOR I may look to try GW2 at that time.
Though I'm concerned about endgame, I'm going to buy TOR; even if I refuse to pre-order it.
ArenaNet should be rewarded for continuing to try and innovate. I invested in them with Guild Wars and its expansions and I'll invest in GW2 as well.
If and when I get bored of re-rolling on TOR, I'll have GW2 to fall back on and not have to pay a monthly sub in the process. Sounds like a great alternative.
I voted neither because I am still on the fence about both and plan to purchase whichever one has the more favorable reviews and player feedback based on what I'm looking for, once they are released.
From the information released so far, it's looking like GW2 is more of what I'm looking for, but I have a hard time trusting information from any computer game publisher/developers.
Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1.
Preordered SWTOR. Will buy GW2 ( I do like fantsy play a lot) unless the PvP/console addicts turn combat into a hip hop joystick-on keyboard fest. Still, it looks good enough so far and I am looking forward to it. I don't buy play-to-win endgame then leave games. I am also intending to buy TSW and have the 3 games playable on my comp. That will be about $30 per month plus initial costs plus expansions. Thats less than I would pay for 3 other hobbies (equipment, playing time, replacement stuff etc..).
I'm probably gonna play and pay for TOR of the two, if for no other reason than GW2 is sword and sorcery, and I'm fucking tired of medieval RPG's. Sci-Fi, no matter the elements of high or low fantasy, is simply more interesting to me right now.

I will buy GW 2 for sure - B2P is something I don't think I can go wrong with.
I was planning to buy SWOTOR, even applied to a guild already, but after seeing the whole pre-order and pricing circus I re-realized it is an EA's game and I should not expect a miracle. Most probably it will be oversimplified to cater the biggest (dumbest or the youngest - take your pick) player base and their CC.So I decided to wait for the guild mates impressions before buying it.
You expect GW2 to not have something along the same lines....?
Anyways I am getting both. If I had to choose one though it would be SWTOR. GW 2 will only be fun for a month or two for me since the end game is not progression based. I might pickup the expansions when they come out though, no clue at this point.
Yeah, it may be but I do not demand the same quality from B2P game as I expect from subscription-based one.
B2P games and MMORPGs have had collector's editions and digital versions for years now with different pricing...what makes this different? You don't have to buy the collector's edition, it does not give you an advantage over anyone. Some people would consider it a waste of money.
GW 2, will be ordering a CE as soon as we get a release date. SWTOR hasn't impressed me at all yet with anything that they have shown us. I might also be jaded on Star Wars, my beloved franchise got turned into something I cannot support, starting with the second trilogy and pretty much everything since that point.
GW 2 has different enough mechanics to keep me interested, and the game looks utterly awesome (art style).
Both. I am not sure where this either/or attitude from so many comes from. Especially given that there is no sub fee for GW2, why would I not play them both as I am interested in seeing both succeed and look forward to both of them for different reasons.
Some folks seem especially driven towards the either/or thing. If you like them both, play them both. Why even compare the two, really?
GW2, without hesitation. SWTOR is just looking like another WoW clone to me, so going to pass on that.
I was excited about GW2, but after a while I felt it does actually look like a WoW clone, except for the class builds and dynamic quests. The class system looks interesting but I have doubts about the dynamic quests, Rift tried "dynamic" and it wasn't so good afterall, Rift also tried the changeable classes/souls but it's really just an alt roll in disguise. There are a few other things but all in all I will believe it when I see it and it looks like closer to 2013 before we'll see the real deal. What else not from the WoW mold does it have other than the classes and dynamic quests?
By now we've seen alot from TOR, actual game play and more details on the mechanics, TOR has taken many things from the WoW/EQ mold yes, but IMO it's the same thing as saying a Mercedes is just a Ford clone, sure it has four wheels and a similar chassis, but the quality, attention to detail, the whole package that comes with it and how it is presented, that is quite different and is where BW is looking to deliver.
Bottom line for me is a cool class system and some dynamic stuff in yet another fantasy setting is not enough against BW made Star Wars game with focus on immersive story in very interesting presentation. I will probably try out GW2 as well whenever it arrives, since it's B2P and all that.

Why do you bring up CE? I never mentioned it.
I never bought one and I never will. All I said is that I usually regret buying EA games as I find them oversimplified and as much as I love some SWOTOR features (whole companion system, dialogs, moral system or the fact that game instances are only 4 ppl based) I am afraid the great ideas will be "streamlined" as they usually are in EA games. This is their trademark for me - oversimplified games (with great graphic and even better trailers/intros, but often almost arcade-like game play).

I find that pretty amusing, especially when NC Soft does not exactly have a strong track record. But GW 2 is not an NC Soft game, it is an ArenaNet game. The same can be said about SWTOR not being an EA game.
Definately GW2, Im still on the fence for SWTOR. I will probably need to try SWTOR before I buy it. I was dissapointed when I got Aion and with Rift I decided to try before buy, that was a GREAT idea since Rift was not happening for me. I see SWTOR in that same mix so I need to try it first.

Agreed, after having watched multiple vids and read interviews on both I can't say SWTOR will be any different than the other MMOs I played and eventually tired of

No atitude here, just answering the question.

I had planned on buying both, but after some of the things I've seen about SWTOR it's ending up that I'll just buy GW2
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.
I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
Both. If they both were P2P I probably would've gone for just GW2, though.

GW2. I've never had any interest in SW:TOR, and probably never will.

I already pre-ordered SWTOR and I plan to buy GW2 when it releases.
Both, why do people always assume it has to be one or the other.
Both
But I see myself playing GW2 longer
Actually the op here isn't assuming that he has a poll on the first page that offers one or the other both or neither as voting options.

Guy standing outside grocery store. Asks people coming in to the produce department 'Which will you buy, apples, oranges, neither or both'
Bam.
That's how you do it. Just like that. Comparing apples and oranges is EASY.
