In my opinion this game would rock on a console just by looking at the way it plays. Even for the micro transactions they could use DLC as the form of "store" they are using as that type of income model. I'm sure they've already thought of all this of course seeing that they are way smarter about the buis' than I am. That way they could get around the microsoft peeps trying to take advantage of them which is what is keeping all mmos away from the console market. Most wouldnt make a profit after all the costs and the money microsoft is charging to use their XboxLive platform for online gaming, from what I've read about it anyway. My 2c :P Though I'll try it as a PC game of course, looks great.

To each their own i suppose. i for one love shooting games on the computer more then console.
I was reading some faq on Firefall concerning other platforms:
I'm not a fan of consoles one bit, so PC is good imo, but I wonder what they mean by inferring "best product" on PC?

They're probably referring to the disaster that an MMO can turn into, particularly with UI navigation, when its put on a console. FF14 is a great example of how cumbersome it can be. I haven't played it, but there have been countless threads about how awful the UI is to navigate with a controller.
If it were a more streamlined "shooter-only" type of game, I'm sure they'd be looking at a console launch also. But with the UI the way it looks (meaning the game has lots of MMO features and not just shooter features), I think that's probably what they're referring to. The UI for MMOs doesn't generally port well to consoles. Between skills, crafting, materials, backpacks, maps, etc. it can turn into a hot mess in a hurry.
