wtf mate?

in Rift

Havent played a mmo that didnt give you complimentary game time after purchasing the game... was enjoying my self yesterday playing a defiant necromancer...

 

decided too see how much the game ran. saw it was 25 bucks... right under that in caps... Purchasing the game does not provide complimentary gameplay time, one must subscribe inorder to activate they're account after purchasing....

    When I bought my boxed copy, it certainly came with 30 days play time. It's possible that is an upgrade from the trial, and buying a retail box for a bit more will give you the 30 days still. I'm not sure though, as I've not seen it without 30 days.

    yea im on the trial.... still boggles the mind tho, ive never played an MMO that didnt give you complimentary game time for buying the game, im a digital game buyer.. i live in quite a remote locaiton.. so  buying a "box" is out of the question...

     

    Regardless ive played 99.5% of the mmos out there, and they supply 1 month of complimentary gameplay time for purchasing they're product... regardless if its a trial upgrade, for flat outright purchase of the game... if Rift/TRION wanted to break the mainstream mold, they screwed the pooch...

     Oh i see, 25 bucks to upgrade without gameplay time.... OR... 40 bucks to purchase the game, and get a free 30 days... they're offering two different options... Still leaves a bad taste in my chops, and Trion wont find me subscribing

    they do supply 1 month complimentary game time. i downloaded mine for 20 bucks and got a month free.
