YooGames has announced that its space-themed MMO, Planet Wars, is now officially in its open beta phase of development. To celebrate the announcement, Planet War devs have a series of contests in place to run between now and August 31st.
In the new beta, players can develop resource plants that will fund expeditions and repair ships and build a research center to discover advanced technologies. Players will need to keep everything running with power plants, or risk being unable to collect important resources and every building can be upgraded to create the advanced technology necessary to compete in a busy galaxy!
In Planet War, players build massive ships to navigate the stars and explore the Milky Way to learn of the ancient alien civilizations. Players can explore alien technology and build alliances with many alien races to help develop the vast galaxy. Build space fleets continuously, explore unclaimed star systems with other players and NPC's, and negotiate different foreign policies in order to avoid or create war.;

I go to the site and what do I see? Pics of a Star Trek "Constitution Class" starship and a Trade Federation Battleship from Star Wars. Why? If they are ripping off those two franchises. I am NOT interested if a company is willing to rip off other company's ideas. Be original or go home.
Let's party like it is 1863!
enter the site and im greeting with star trek and star wars pictures......... huh?

Haha, judging by the horrible English translations on their website, it looks like it.
Bigbanban is the man.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein
"Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre
Whats even funnier is the game hasn't worked for a few days.
It's working fine for me
Don't think mmorpg.com should be supporting copyright infringment. Rip off front page to the website or what!
I think that at this point MMORPG.com supports anyone who pays them.
