Hey guys, I've been looking at mastheads mmo Earthrise. Just wondering if anyone can give me a snapshot of its current playerbase as I cannot find anything on it's forums about it.
Also, pro's and con's would be appreciated.

Well i tried the game a few months back as i picked it up really cheap.
The game was still buggy as hell, graphics kinda sucks, combat was pretty boring.. I came accross no other players in the starter zones.. not sure if its got any better yet.
Dont waste your time or money unless it went F2p. If there was a definition of Terribad Earhrise would be it.

Here's a very neutral and honest perspective.
I'm not like some of the other haters in here, who played the game for a couple of days at released and judged it on its (TERRIBAD) first impression.
I have subbed since day one, but I'm only in T4 gear (meaning I am still low level). The reason for this, is that I loved the concecpt, but hated the game's poor performance and overall release. That being said, however, I liked it all enough to keep subbing, and keep checking it out from time to time.
Recently, they have implemented Territorial Warfare, which allows guilds to fight over outposts, and control areas of the maps, which include teleporters, etc. This should have been in from launch; and more people would likely still be playing it if it had have been.
I haven't had the pleasure of playing TW yet, but many people (whose opinions I trust), have told me that it's great.
In terms of performance, when the game launched, it was utterly piss poor. I don't know what exactly they have done, but logging into the game yesterday I had DOUBLE the FPS. So, improvements are definitely being made.
Yes, the population is low for a game in its infancy, but one thing I have noticed are that the numbers are actually picking up. More and more people are joining the game, and more and more people are returning. One of the reasons is the decent patches that keep popping up. The developers have in no way given up on this game; it seems to me as though they have only just begun.

This patch includes new features for TW, and some much needed balancing to melee and launcher abilities.
In summary, I think it's worth checking out. I never was a fan of WoW/Rift/WAR/AION (insert every other tab to target game out there), and instead preferred games like:
Neocron
Face of Mankind
Darkfall
Mortal Online
Earthrise
It is my opinion that Earthrise will eventually, at the very least, rank in the top three of those games above; once everything is fixed.
To tell you the truth. This game needs players, badly. The devs know this, hence the HUGE reduction in the price. Now is the time to try it, as many people will be returning for this patch.
Now utterly in contrast : If you buy this game, you risk it being an utter waste of money. There's probably a 50% chance that this game will be dead within a year. It utterly depends on what the devs do right now.
