New Firefox is great but is very annoying!

6.0 is annoying and I will probably downgrade back to 4.0 where everything is compatible for addons and no javascript errors to deal with on some sites. It's like beta testing this browser when it is suppose to be final release.
Things don't work like they should still. Such as enhanced editor on this site and other sites.
Do you hate Firefox direction in making things incompatible right now and are you having any issues with it? It seems like they don't care anymore about making things compatible and working.

The only problem I have with Firefox has occured since version 5. Context menus that spill over outside of the Firefox page frame aren't being cleaned up. I get left over fragments of these menus around the edges of the application. This includes but is not limited to the applications frame. The only way I've found to reliably clean them up is to click-drag a box over the desktop.
This occurs with no other application that I run.
You not using 6.0 yet? 6.0 is the new one were I have trouble, especially this site the enhanced editor is not supported by it so I guess mmorpg.com has to fix that to make it compatible or does firefox. I have a few addons that will no longer work for 6.0 and it seems hundreds of thousands of people are P.O. at this latest version. I like 4.0 but it no longer is supported or updated for security and 5.0 is no longer supported.
"Since version 5" includes version 6.
I also updated to firefox 6 but it kept crashing so have reverted back to firefox 5 which works compared to 6 which just opens the crash report page and never the web browser so it is with 5 i stay until 6 is stable which it is not at the moment
i am using windows 7 home 64 bit. Firefox 6 is really annoying x_X
not sure if it's firefox or my pc which is getting old but firefox has been causing an abnormally high amount of bluescreens lately

Firefox used to be a light and fast browser. I miss those days.
The thing I don't get is we had firefox 3, and they released a few firefox 3.Xs until a year or two went by and then they released firefox 4.0. Don't get why they're jumping up a whole version so fast...twice.

Use Google Chrome instead. Works faster than Firefox.
That's weird, I have Firefox and I don't have to update it. Or maybe it's just because, I think a reminder pops up telling me that I have to update it. What I would do is uninstall the new Firefox and download the old version you had. Or you can contact (either by email or phone) the company to tell them this new version of Firefox doesn't work that good. Hope this helps, Good Luck.
I'm running Firefox 6.0.2 and have had no problems with it. ::shrugs:: Oh and it is lightning fast. Fastest browser I have had to date.
