No vote. Half of the list wouldn't bother me much if it were less than par.
Then again, screw up gameplay so we can't coop because of different instance bubbles (like WoW phasing) and I won't stay.

1. Operations ( I no longer have room in my life for scheduled dont stand in the fire while some one yells at you sessions)
2. HuttBalll. Seems like fluff to me.
3. Companions. I will deal with them, but I prefer not to. This one I am not too sure about as I still don't fully comprehend just how fully they are integrated into the experience.
Note: These are things that I would not miss. However, I have friends that would miss these 3 things, and that would affect my gameplay.
Crew skills anyone? Kinda hard subject since I dont know anyone who knows how exactly the diplomatic / npc mission thingies work, and I wouldnt put them exactly under the crafting category even if they all go under the crew skills slot.
Edit: Maybe they go under the companions hmm, but then again the diplomatic stuff sounds very different than companions just hanging out with you,
A. Huttball - I wouldn't miss this, at least from what I have seen.
B. BG PvP - Even though I am a victim of peer pressure when it comes to this, I wouldn't care either. It would put more emphasis on World PvP where I think PvP should be, not in some simulated arena. I hate when half the population is somewhere in the twilight zone battlling for gear and reputation.
C. Raids - This become a job and very cliqish in guilds.

For me if PVP was not finishe or just done poorly it would not affect my game play. Raids would also not really bother me unless i had already played thorugh all the content for each class. After that then raiding becomes more important, as long as i can find a good guild
See, I love world PVP. If I am some bad-ass Sith, and I'm questing in an area or whatever and happen across a Jedi player and his friends, I want to be able to KILL THEM.
Not being able to do so would be devastating to the game's immersion, IMO.
Wow, I can not believe that so many people could care less about World PVP. That is the only feature I'm waiting to hear about in SWTOR. I had writted this game off until I saw an interview where they said they have a large team devoted to World PVP.
If the game doesn't implement good World PVP there is not a chance I'm purchasing the game. I'm stunned that so many people could care less about it.
Since I could only choose one I picked Huttball. I also could not care less about PvP in general. This is a Bioware RPG. You play a Bioware RPG for the story, not to show off your awesome E-peen skills. What part of Bioware/RPG do people not understand? Things like Huttball should have never been put in-game. They could have picked any number of already existing social timesinks to put in its place (pazzak, swoop racing, ect).

Yeah, agreed. And while i do not have interrest in Operations, 26% is not that much, and frankly the sample size is small. I find it suprising that even out of 100 that Operations are the most disposable feature. It will only take a few votes to chnage that though at this sample size.
I'll be rolling on a PvP server, and my end game will be somwhere like Illum.

It also has Mythic staff developing RvR style PvP like Illum. I love Bioware and their story telling. I enjoy RvR both in DAOC and WAR. I think your lack of interrest in PvP may have blinded you to the fact PvP will be a very compelling component of TOR. Nothing wrong with Huttball or Pazzak. For me there will be Illum and WarZones, for you Operations .
I personally would love an MMO with NO raiding...but that is just me.
It's too bad the poll code doesn't allow you to pick multiple entries; raids, pvp battlegrounds, world pvp and hutball are all completely unimportant to me (I'll never do any of them). The story, companions, crafting, economy and solo content are all extremely important to me. I'd say the story content is the most important, though. Once I finish the class stories for all of the classes I'm interested in playing, I'll most likely unsubscribe until they release an expansion.
As far as this game goes, I'm much less interested in the "MMORPG" aspect of it than I am the "Knights of the Old Republic" aspect of it. All themepark MMOs eventually devolve to some sort of repetitive activity, whether it's instance grinds, reputation grinds, daily grinds, etc. That's always where I lose interest in them, and I don't think it will be any different with TOR unless they release large story updates for every class each and every month, which doesn't seem realistic (especially considering the expense of VO content). The one advantage TOR has is that I will almost definitely buy all of its expansions to see where the story goes.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not aganist PvP in general, I LOVED Darkfall until the Clan Politics killed it for me. But this game is built from the ground up on Biowares forte which is storytelling Single player RPGs. So why complain about the PvP. It's just there to increase the number of people willing to buy it. It will never be (I hope) the focus of TOR. Their are games out there that do focus on PvP. You can play one of those. Not being an elitist or anything like that. Myself (and like-minded people) just want a game that we can enjoy without hearing about PvP.

It's interesting the reverse engineer the voting results. Another way to put it would be "which items mean the most to you?" with the lowest responses in this poll being the things that are most important to people. Based on the results when I voted, that means the following items are most important (geatest to least):
Solo content
Crafting
Story
Economy
Companions
Battleground PvP
Nothing (People who won't play)
Hutball
World PVP
Raids
What we can extrapolate from that is:
-The players interested in ToR want a game with viable solo content, meaninful crafting/economy, and story.
-The story part I can set aside as a "no duh", it's Bioware for God's sake. Them bragging about a game having a story is like a fish bragging it can breathe underwater.
-The crafting/economy bit surprises me. Is it that many players long for SWG's old crafting/economy/social structure? If so, what I've seen from this game so far means they will be sorely disappointed.
NOTE: At this time there have only been 111 responses. I am well aware that's not enough to form a solid grasp of player's interests. But I'll be interested to see if it changes much.

That's a good observation though. We do have quite a few former or current SWG folks looking to continue that experience somewhere. It will definately NOT be TOR.
I voted raiding as I have no desire to hop on that treadmill again.
That's me too. I have done some of this, in EQ, EQ2, and WoW, and going forward --- given raids in the form that they have existed to date --- I have "no desire".

Wishing for Multi -Select here.

I voted BG PvP, but my real vote would be general PvP.
I do not hate it. I just don't do it.
I'm all about PvE, and with the right friends, Operations I see them being very enjoyable.
Edit / Reminder:
We have so far 74 votes out of 3M+ possible players. It's good to see how people think, but let's not take this as absolute truth.

20% isn't that many.
Yeah true...not even close to a good sample size. Still interresting though.
