All the Warlock tier sets looked like crap to me. I especially hate the asymmetry they give to almost all warlock sets. Warrior t13 was 100% better in my opinion, but generally warriors have at minimum ok armor.

Gold, green and purple? That's not hate, it is basic fashion sense.
I dare you to dress in those colors IRL to see peoples reactions...
I think blizz thinks warlocks don't have any fashion sense, I mean most warlock tiers have crazy color combos. Warlock t3 had similar colors and looked 100Xs weirder.

WoW fans are completely blind and would even buy shit-in-a-box from Blizzard, news at eleven. I used to be a wowhead too once, I know what it's like but one day it happened and I snapped out of it. I see it all the time, even more as of late.
@Loke, Flavor Flav wears those colors in public and then some lol. The ladies luuuv him *Kanye shrug*
It has nothing to do with hating WoW, and everything to do with hating crappy armor art.
Did you even play WoW prior to Wrath? The tier 1-6 sets look a hell of a lot better than anything that's come after.
Ya see the thing with art is that it is all in the eye of the beholder. I'll have you know I've been a WoW fan since classic and I've hated, loved and been indifferent to tiers throughout all expansions. Seems to me you have a "but the good ol days were so much better then these days" complex like the rest of the thread. I think it looks interesting. Sure it might not be my absolute favourite for warlocks but I like the diversity in looks that it brings to the table as a new set.
On the one hand players were always shouting for more content, and now they behave as beeing at set 13 would be something horrible. What do you want now? More content = more raid dungeons = more sets? Or less content? People always find something to complain about if they want to.
And, not playing Wow anymore, but I think the set looks ok. It's somewhat colorful, but WoW has always been a very colorful game. The colors are still slightly dulled to prevent it from getting too much. The set got some horns and spikes and stuff, so why not?
If you think this set looks bad, then you never saw the AQ sets:
In those 6 years the armor sets got worse and worse and when the 1st news of Titan came to light i saw massive a drop in qaulity across the board.
I stopped playing 4 weeks after Cata launch and i dint miss it for a day.
Eve is keeping me busy till GW2 is dropped on the shelves.
WoW is a empty shell with massive ammounts of contends, but the vibe of the game is dead a long time.
Lol, the first news was the Kaplan was moved away from lead designer of Wow to lead designer of Titan so it is not that strange. Wows first lead designer was Strain and when he quit Kaplan took over, both those guys are really good. Blizzard couldn't expect to get a third guy that competent so of course it will affect the game.
Blizzard has posted a preview of the Tier 13 armor for Warlocks in World of Warcraft. In addition, the team has posted a "visual guide to Warlock armors from Tier 1-12".
A set with the flavor of the Old Gods about it - General Vezax from the Ulduar raid was a reference point. Any warlock tier is a great opportunity to bring a dark and warped aesthetic to player gear and this set was especially ripe for the treatment.
I make goth clothing and sell them online. I also am an artist in real life. And I got to admit, even I could do a better job at designing some of these sets. Thankfully I don't play WoW anymore. The old WoW's sets look much better and more unique (Except the AQ sets. Those were horrible), I don't know what kind of artists they have hired now at blizzard but they must be all sniffing glue.

Yeah, that is pretty rough considering that it's not all that old. From the background, that was taken in Shat.

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
