I got the same. More than likely they are having the same problem they had when Freedom was first applied to the beta server. ( Account and login server communication issue ). that or they are testing the live servers before they allow access.
Nope, no server access presently (nor access to the bulletin boards, likely linked to the login server as someone mentioned).
At least they quashed the bug that wouldn't let you even touch a server that requiring the name slider (it kept resetting to the top). I think anticipating this stuff is why Freedom wasn't slated to go live for everyone, but just the existing subscriber base (i.e. VIPs)...so they didn't get off on the wrong foot with the Freem crowd, so to speak.
It looks like they're testing loads now though, so perhaps we'll see it live tonight. Then again, these people, working on California time, have been going for about 11 hours straight now....

Nope. I can't get on either and the forums are locked too. It says maintenance but I believe any forum maintenance was suppose to have been done earlier in the day. Suspiciously looks like a no go for the moment.

Even worse, earlier in the day, the home page was updated advertising the rocketboard, barbarian costumes, and a third item. That appeared to get redacted sometime in the afternoon. Magic 8-ball says not likely tonight. / ' :
I am starting to think that they took the forums down so people couldn't ask 1000 questions and make 1,000,000 rage posts. XD

According to the twitter feed, i21 is live and servers are up for the past 50 minutes (but the market won't be available). But, when I try to login, I now get rejected stating it's a login server issue or my local network.
Very odd.
can get on very slowly now....
oh, and there seem to be some nvidia driver issues.
Same problem earlier, it's letting me in now though.

Edit: because all of the servers are down without an announcment...
They actually announced that the servers would be down last night so they could get the store up and working. Granted, they announced it rather late last night, but they did post it on the forums. They also told people about it on the ustream, but that doesn't count as 'announcing' it in the same way the forum post does.
