Hey guys. I stare at computers all day long. The last thing I wanted to do is come home and stare at another computer screen. I quit playing games for about 6 months. Now, I am ready to dust off the ole desktop and put this machine to use.
Im hoping someone can recommend an awesome single player game. My tastes are the usual. I enjoy fantasy rpg, rts, fps, etc. Im not worried about system requirements.
Im wondering what your guys favorite single player games are that are recent releases. I do not care about the genre. I think I need to try a few games outside of my genres.
Would you guys recommend your favorite games? I can check out the gameplay vids on youtube and purchase them if I like what I see.

If you want a really good RPG to get things rolling then I highly suggest Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga. I'm one of those players that if an RPG is good enough I'll do everything possible before confronting the final part, that which I did here and it took me about 86hrs to finish it. This was including the expansion, which is part of the "Saga"...
Its entirely vocal too, down to there even being a narrator that reads signs, notes & tombstones, etc for you, and its pretty damn good. Honestly I thought it was better than what Bioware has done...
Deus Ex : Human Revolution. It just released a couple of weeks ago and is one of very few games to do justice to the name it carries, the first Deus Ex from 10 years ago is widely considered one of the best RPG's made.
I picked up The Witcher off Steam for $10.00. So far it's a pretty good game (after 5-10hrs of game time).
Pretty cheap investment for a fairly high quality game.
