Gamestop Pre-Order Question

in Star Wars: The Old Republic

Lets say I stroll down to my local Gamestop tomorrow and plop money down for the game. Will I get a code for early headstart from Gamestop to enter in on TOR website. Securing me for the headstart. Anyone know?

    I didn't, all I got was a reciept, they said they were out of head start codes.  I am thinking about canceling my preorder and ordering through origin so I can get it.

    I did this very thing today, and got a card with the pre-order code. It specifically states: "You will be notified by email of your early acess time at a later date."

     It is not a good idea to buy from Gamestop it seems. Many people have not got their Pre-order key. Their are many threads about this on the TOR OBoards. I bought one of mine from Walmart. They still have CE I believe.

    Try first buy then. Unless you already tried it in the beta of course.

    Never pre order an untried MMO. Ever.

    If you dont want to wait for gamestop to send you an email wit the code, send them and email through their website>support.

    I got a response within 24hrs with my code

    I would be very surprised if you will get an early access code at this point.  It's been more than 60 days since the July 21st sale of keys.

    Apperantly gamestop is out of pre-order codes just got off the phone with somneone at my local store. So does amazon still have pre-order headstart codes? How about origins?

    dont know about amazon but origin should still have codes available since only thing listed on there as sold out is the collectors edition.  the other editions are all still listed for pre-ordering.

    Also watch your receipts because Gamestop usually puts the promo codes towards the middle of it now a days.. Thats where mine was.  just FYI
