These sales are pretty rare for this game, so you probably should get in on this one while you can.

    Lies if you are EU and click on banner the price tag is 10€ for standard 15€ for CE....

    Rift is free to play. It says so right on the front page of MMORPG.com.

    Rare my bum, it was free to buy a weekend or two ago from some sites, including the 30 days.

    $5 without the 30 days of game time...for that price you can just pay $9.99 on Amazon for the game with 30 days of game time.

    Also...its not rare, they've been doing this every month for a while now and I've seen the price on Amazon go from $9.99 to $12.99 for a couple of weeks.

    But NOT surprised they are doing that thing with the "game time not included" again. I saw the full page skin ad here on MMORPG, but didn't click it so didn't read that part.

    The curious  thing about it is that even this 4.99$ offer is not the best choice if you are looking for a bargain.

    Considering this UK site recently gave the keys away for free (SE incl. 30 days), you can get away even cheaper with a little patience.

    The game will continue to do well or it won't.  Eitherway, the game was a massive success at launch and has retained a respectable playerbase.  Whatever happens to the game now, the game was a success for Trion.  It didn't fail as numerous amounts of haters predicted.  It's not f2p yet.  It didn't have crashed servers or lack of end game content.  It was a complete game.  Maybe not the game a lot of people wanted to play, but enough to make a profit for Trion and entertain hundreds of thousands of players. 

    I don't really get the troll thread or what it's trying to prove.  Kind of sad really.

    OMG!!!! Rift is on sale .... I am so shocked. Too bad the game isn't even worth 5 bucks.

    I'm a Fing Retard... When I press the link with the 5 dollars sale I get directed to a website to buy the game for 10 euros that translates to 14 Dollars thats triple the advertised.

    Guess what I'm from Europe.

    People from the US get the 5 dollars game?

    If i get a friend from the US to buy me a key can i use it to play in the Euro servers or I'm restricted to the US servers?

    Help me out.

    game keys have no point of sale , you can buy one where ever you please and use it where ever you please.

    You should re-read the thread. Those $5 keys don't come with 30 days of game time. You still need to subscribe (another $15) to play the game.
