    Good news for recent beta winners.

    Swede – When can recent beta contest winners expect to get in the game?
    Satange – Our PR guy has now all the accounts, so I say very soon (expect an email today or tomorrow).

    Very nice.

    So it is confirmed now that damage taken by a character is dependent on his direction. This will make for large scale battles that can have real tactics instead of gang vs gang.

    Interesting stuff but-- is there any reason they all sound like immigrants? (I know they arent American, but you'd think they'd be able to speak normally or have a PR guy handle that kind of stuff)

    French is the developers native language. While they do have PR types if you want authoritative info you need to go to the devs themselves.

    Yet, I think they are finally realizing that the chat format is not the best way to deliver new information.

    Well you couldent ask for more of a direct for the source info.  To bad what they said didnt happen.  I hope this isint a sign of whats to come.

    Like I said, I hope its not a sign of things to come, I guess it is.  When someone asks A direct question, like when will the beta open, a direct answer is not required.  Simply said, Then beta will open soon.  However, when you give your team a deadline of same day or next day and you lack the foresight to see that far ahead, why wouldent you just say soon.  I mean, why would you even risk squandering the teams credibility over something like this.  I know in my job, I pick my deadlines, and If im late, im fired.  Everyday I get huge deadlines, and the idea is, have the foresight to set the deadlines you can meet.

    I dont care if i have to wait 6 months,  but don't gimmie no s***, and dont f*** around.
