Thinking of coming back to Guild Wars.

Yeah so im thinking of going back to guild wars and maybe getting my wife into it. I was woundering how the community and popoulation is now. are there still guilds out there. hows pvp? is it easy to find groups or help from others?

 

Played this on and off sence it was released but i havn't played this in so so long. and im looking for somthing to do with my wife.

There's still people and guilds, PvP is active in Random Arena, JQ and FA... Group finding is little tricky now. Even though there's more people playing because of Hall of Monuments rewards, its still pretty hard to find group for regular content, and by regular I mean missions and vanquish. However, if you do Zaishen Missions and Zaishen vanquish you can find groups more easily. If you don't know what those are, they are basically random mission or area vanquish that changes every day (daily quest). You get some nice rewards for doing those. On the other hand, it is now posible to form full hero party (not only 3 heroes) so almost everything is soloable, except elite areas (DoA, UW etc.), but you can easily find party for those.

If you are interested in Hall of Monuments rewards for GW2 there's some pretty good guides to reach 30 points very fast.

i started yust for HoM but rlly like GW1 now, pvp is nonstop active, guilds can be quite active, alliances are  non-stop chat and ive alrdy had help at 5 different quests by about 10 people..so in my experience its as active as it can be :P

 

still wanna move to GW2 asap though
