So pilfering around White Wolf sites and figured I'd share..

http://whitewolfblogs.com/blog/2011/12/21/its-still-monday-right/

.. at least this bit of information.

Rich and I meet late on Tuesday, because he’s still exhausted and recovering from his surgery last week, and I’ve been in constant WoD MMO meetings so far this week, one of which involved a Google search on the term “latex nuns.”

There's other bits and pieces throughout their blogs that at least shows that some of the main creative minds for the World of Darkness brand are at least still busy thinking about the MMO.

I used to play MMOs like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

Not much info there, and just verifies the official word from CCP. That being said it is nice to see it confirmed by something other than a press release/official announcement. Too bad it gives no info on rate current development status or rate.

I know what you mean, but usually whenever I saw statements about WoD the MMO it was from press heads and what not. These blogs are the actual penmen of everything World of Darkness so to see that they're busy in the process even if the actual programmers / world builder talent is being utilized elsewhere inspires me a bit to know it's at least getting a lot of love from the guys who should care about this iteration of their IP.

I really want WOD to see the light of day... I was a huge fan of the masquerade. I remember wishing for a sequel to the 2nd game... Thanks for the update, I also bookmarked the page and will check on it often. MMo industry has gotten really stale, and WOD would be a breath of fresh air in an undead like genre.

Since there is nothing else to do, feel free to speculate on what "latex nuns" might be.

    1) NPC faction based in a former convent, wearing S&M gear, specialized in martial arts.  It could totally happen.

This is brilliant press work by CCP first they drop production on a game everyone on the green earth wanted to play, to continue production and DUST a game no one wants to play or for that matter buy a PS3 to play. This way they can not sell that game, and destroy the hype on this one at the same time. It looks like they had better put out some good EVE expansions since they every intention of making this vaporware.
