LF MMORPG that's actually fun

Not a braindead grind.

I'm gonna be all honest here. I hate questing and I always have. I don't like to go shoot 12 rabbits for 10 xp and 1 silver and proceed to the next quest guy who tells me to do the same thing.. but with turtles.. Then proceed through 500+ quests with this same garbage untill I hit max level and can finally start playing the game.

Is there a game out there that's actually fun from day one?

To make it easier, here's a list fo games that I played:

WoW: Leveled enough character in this game. Done with it. Raids are too easy, PvP is too slow.

Aion: Same thing, but in japanese

Forsaken World: Same thing, but with meterosexual vampires

Champions online: Same thing, but with super heroes

DCUO: Actually the only game I'm playing on PC right now, but it's gotten pretty one sided too fast.

Everquest 2: Played for 5 minutes

Lineage 2: Was on good toes with one of the best guilds, which made it more bearable.. But what a grind. Think I grinded enough for a lifetime here.

SWTOR: Good storyline, but gameplay is definetly too slow for my taste. Uninstalled it after 3 days of playing.

I would suggest Guild Wars 1

That game lets you pvp right away if you like, or do the pve with less grind than most games.

Has great multiclassing system.

You need to manage your abilities in combat, and it is fast paced as I recall. It has been years since I played.

 

 

No grind and action packed is tough to find.

Honestly no there isnt anything you are looking for in an MMORPG right now. Asherons Call back in the day might of been for you but not anymore, its to outdated. You have played almost every type of MMORPG out there style wise.

I'm actually not sure WHAT you are looking for though.  You do not like questing. You do not like grinding mobs. With exception of maybe secret world (dont really know enough about it except its not level based) or GW2, which will be half themepark half twitchbased skill combat where you can be semi competative regardless of level I'm not sure the MMORPG genra is even for you.

Simply put. Everything you said you do not like is exactly what MMORPG's are. At least right now. That said, that is why I'm not currently playing an MMORPG. None of them are entertaining enough for me. I am playing SWTOR but not as an MMORPG. I'm playing it as a single player RPG for the story with an added chat room.

 

 

Edit: Edited because I realized you said PvP was to SLOW. Did not say any of it was to fast. The rest of my post stands. I have to go to work but I will try to find a WTF is that TB did. There is a f2p PvP only game out there in the style of MMORPG combat thats based off WAR. Might fit you perfectly if there is a community for the game.

I've been thinking that as well, but I had the naive thought that I always ended up with the wrong game for me. Maybe the hack and slash genre would be more my taste. I did like diablo 2, but the community there must be completely dead by now.

If you don't mind slight repetitive gameplay, try out Vindictus.

I agree that Guildwars would probably be your best bet. There is also Warhammer where you do not have to do any PVE but there still is a grind which is just PVP but at least you could ignore the PVE quests and still progress if you wanted to and the same goes with other games like Global Agenda or League of Legends. Darkfall, Mortal Online, and EVE are sandbox so do not force you to do any PVE quests but there is still a grind and although you could develop without ever doing any PVE in theory you most definitely would do it anyways since it would be easier than alternatives. I won't get into all the older games that don't have those types of quest chains but there are quite a few.
