New X-Com?

Hey guy's,

I heard a rumor that a new X-Com game is in the makeing.Anyone have info on this?

I have been lookin around the nets but to no avail.

The game is named XCOM: Enemy Unknown (which is, you know, a mix between the original title's EU and US names UFO: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: Ufo Defense). Its being developed by Firaxis and it is supposed to be out late this year.

This upcoming title seems to have potential... I just hope they stick to all the "rules" of the original X-Com games.

There is a ton of info on it already, and its looking to be quite the spiritual sucessor of the original, with of course modern graphics and features, as well as new enemies, weapons and such.  Its going to be awesome!

There is of course another X-Com FPS thats been pushed into fiscal 2013, but I really hope it gets cancelled.  Its looking to be one of those ridiculous titles that ruin great IPs...
