I want to know what the majority of people use when playing mmos on pc, and what you would like to see improved in your input device of choice.

And also would you be open to motion controllers?

now THIS is an elistist statement I am about to make.

 

My darkfall character has 100 skill slots and even a few more character functions outside of that and I need to be able to access any of them pretty muuch without looking and without moving the ball of my left hand much at all.

Controllers? yeah right!

Keyboard and mouse and gamepad.  I switch back and forth between them depending on the game, and sometimes depending on what I'm doing even within a game.

I don't think there is enough distinction between a "gaming" keyboard and a normal keyboard or mice to warrant two separate entries.  Regardless, keyboard and mouse for everything except maybe racing games and even then I'd rather have a steering wheel.

It depends on the keyboard.  Mine has a secondary keypad that place all the important keys around my hand.  I can press 0 just as easily as 1.  This means that I do not need to macro things or use extra key combinations.
