In Game SOPA Protests/Awareness ?

BarrikorBarrikor Member UncommonPosts: 373

Hey, you guys have probably noticed that a lot of popular websites have "gone dark" today.

Has anyone seen or started any kind of anti-SOPA Awareness in game today?

Edit:
Hadn't seen the no politics rule before, must be new. Edited the thread to exclude politics, just talking about if anyone has seen anything in-game.

(Also, SOPA isn't politics anyway since politics needs 2 sides - no one supports SOPA)

I play a game to get away from real life not to bring real life into a game. Also WTF would it matter to anyone who wasn't in the game lIke U.S. Senators and Representatives?

I have a better idea. Write your governmental representatives and express yourself to them.

It might matter to the people a lot, just most people don't know about it. The companies that own the media aren't letting them cover it as news, the only to find out is internet.

U.S. Senators and Representatives don't use the internet, most aren't computer literate to begin with.

Also while we all like to get away from real life with games, (or with making games), sometimes you have to set that aside for a short while, stare real life in the face, and then pick up a gun and kill it.

If you look, Minecraft for example went dark today too, it matters to that game anyway.
