I was just wondering is it possible to have group/party with your other alts in any mmos. Or are there any that already have this feature?
Well Guildwars sells a mercenary hero pack where you can transform your alts into heros with access to all the skills in the game which is cool. And I think they get the gear too? I dunno.
Generally you are not supposed to have alts in MMOs, especially more than 1 logged in at a time. Its supposed to be a multiplayer game, you shouldn't be doing group content with multiboxing or w/e.

The original Guild Wars (not an MMO) has something kind of like that. In that game, there are a bunch of NPC Heroes you can take with you while you adventure.
They introduced something called a Mercenary Hero which lets you set one of your characters as an NPC Hero (that behaves like any of the standard NPC heroes) that you can group with on another character.
Being essentially a vanity item, you need to purchase Mercenary Hero Slots in their cash shop before using it though. You also need to level that character to cap before you can do it, but that should be fairly quick.
edit: Cuathon beat me to it.

I've done it in EVE. Though serious PvP might be hard to handle without a real multibox setup, mining, missioning was doable with just dual monitors.

I've always wanted my MMORPG to have Henchmen as well as pets, and to allow the players to shift to a Henchman or Pet (like WoW did with pets), only at will.
However, this would harm social play as a player is a group in themselves. I've felt that having perma-death for these pets and Henchmen would be a solution to that, but it's not a good one. So there's issues, but there might be a way somehow, I don't know.

Yes, Guild Wars allows you to use your alts as mercenaries on other characters. Granado Espada allows you to do the same, though in a way a single account is an alt account, where you're leveling a plethora of characters and can then turn them into cards (some of them starting that way) to use as mercenaries or even sell to other people.

I'd just be happy if more games would realize that solo players might want to group their alts into a private guild so as to have a collective identity.
I already "group" my crafting efforts by swapping around materials and products around between alts. The idea of bringing in your own alts as companions is interesting, but I think I would find it unnerving to see a beloved alt running around on its own AI.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse. - FARGIN_WAR

Once upon a time....
It's not so much a 'feature' as it is running two accounts at once. In any other game, like SotNW you just control more than one guy at once anyway.
Most games will let you slip by with multi-boxing, but the pace has to be kinda slow, like EVE or a turn-based game.
