So with the Legacy system, it seems they never intend players to play alien races like Rhodian? How exactly does that work. How can a Rhodian or say a Tradoshon<sp?> be a part of say a human family legacy - that is assuming Bioware allows for the eventual play of alien races?
Bioware has never really been shy about inter-species dating.
Hence the fact your romantic interests can be different races.
I think it will be up to you how much of a purist you want to be about the genetics involved in cross-breeding.
So far I love their attitude and I am looking forward to playing later tonight!
I honestly don't think they will add alien races. The voice acting would be ridiculously annoying (imagine saying rawr as a wookie for every response) and romancing would be extremely weird (imagine a wookie bangin Kira -.-).
PvP ranking? O rly? Boy, i hope it's as good as their other pvp features
At least they've finally realized that their locked-in UI is retarded. Only took it being one of the top complaints for the past 6 months.

Also, how does adding new warzones fix the faction imbalances? How is Bioware going to address the faction imbalances on the servers?

They've mentioned in the past that players would only be playing mostly human races. "Nothing you wouldn't want to kiss" was the quote.

As far as I know there are 7 aliens races you can play...
sith, twi'lek, zabrak, rattataki, miralan, miraluka, chiss.

Question was "is the VIDEO a rush job" which I mean I'm not sure about, it used some recycled footage but it had some new stuff too... if they just put this together over negative feed back over 1.1 I'm impressed.

ok bioware has stated on legacy system that u can pick what role a character has to the legacy family name u choose. They could be say a brother in law, a rhodian marries yoru zabrak or twi'lek , in star wars this does happen
They could also be best freind of your main and be part of your legacy family that way , at least thats how i interpreted it.
i do know they have stated that u pick the relationship within your legacy that each character has , or that u will be able to do that.
While they have stated mostly human races, and swimming only if they added a world that swimming was a big part of, They also stated they could add other races, that weren't human if players wanted it.
Considering it's that time of the month (resub) I'd think they had it planned.

They could inadvertently create all new content geared towards the Republic so there would be no real reason to be an imp *cough* DCUO *cough*.

Agreed, allowing smugglers and bouty hunters to be "neutral" would have solved a lot of problems.

What they should have done was create more classes or let players define their look more. This is why IMp's get more players who want a "badass" look.

I like how the voting isn't for the poll but to determine how many are intune with BW's future updates. Which is less than half.

Honestly I don't know why people are excited by this, nothing really pops out compared to most big updates, added in the fact that its 'in the next months' means its probably not all going to be at once and pretty well spread out from now. A nice attempt I guess at keeping people, just wish they tried actually doing something big if they really want to keep people.
